WELCOME TO THE DOOLIN GROUP

For over three decades, we have been privileged to serve families of all sizes, successful individuals, and business entrepreneurs across every stage of life and financial complexity, with a special emphasis on preparing women as family financial leaders.

As a multigenerational team of professionals, we understand financial planning needs across generations, whether just beginning a career, managing a family or business, enjoying retirement, or somewhere in between.

OUR PRIORITY, OUR PASSION, AND THE BASIS OF EVERYTHING WE DO...
is to position you and your family to achieve your financial goals through a highly personalized approach to growing and sustaining tangible assets while preserving your family values—today and for future generations. We place a high value on building long-lasting relationships that includes the well-being of your entire family.

That's why our advice goes beyond traditional wealth management to offer generational wealth planning, financial education, as well as opportunities for growth and learning:

  • We prepare women of all ages for family financial leadership
  • We help business owners achieve personal financial confidence while managing demanding businesses
  • We prioritize developing sound money management habits for young investors
  • We guide families in preparing to successfully transfer wealth, values, and legacy across generations

Embracing a Tradition of Learning and Discovery
In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 25th annual Client University — a milestone event in the financial services industry that reflects our commitment to providing clients and their families with new insights and perspectives from "the best of the best" speakers on topics clients have told us matter most to their family's future success and are not typically available in one place.

Building on that tradition, in 2025 we introduced our first Invest in Yourself women's event — a day designed to inspire and empower women of all stages in life as they shape their own paths to financial leadership through personal growth and discovery.

YOUR FAMILY. YOUR FUTURE. OUR PRIORITY.

A comprehensive, personalized financial plan isn’t just about where you are today — it’s about where you want to go. Whether you're a successful individual, multigenerational family, business owner founder, or young investor, we take the time to understand what matters most to you and your family — whether you're focused on building and preserving wealth, saving for retirement, or leaving a meaningful legacy.

Our goal is to keep you on track toward achieving your long-term objectives while making adjustments as your life, goals, and circumstances evolve. Above all, we’re passionate about guiding you and your family toward financial success.

    Advising Business Owner Founders
Advising founders of businesses has given us a deep appreciation and understanding for the specialized attention required when it comes to personal and family financial planning, often overlooked when running a business. We help ensure your personal financial matters are up to date and in order—important documents, estate plan, and financial plan—so you’re well positioned whether planning to remain active in the business, transfer, or sell.
    Icon Image
    Rethinking Estate Planning
Estate planning is an integral part of wealth management to ensure your assets are protected while your investments continue to grow. We go beyond traditional estate planning advice to also help our client families prepare for a successful wealth transfer where their values pass along with the assets and family harmony is maintained. We coordinate with your other trusted advisors, so the right people are in place—executor, trustees, and beneficiaries—so your wishes, intentions, and legacy are honored in future generations.
    Icon Image
    Sound Retirement Planning
Our primary retirement planning focus is helping clients maintain their current lifestyles while transitioning away from a business or career. We guide each client on which retirement plans best fit their needs and stage in life--401K plan, Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, Profit Sharing Plans, etc. Annually, we review your plans to maximize savings and tax benefits. One of the trends we are seeing with client families is gifting a contribution to a Roth IRA for younger adult children to give them a head start with a tax-free saving account that can grow for years ahead.

    Mentoring Young Investors
It is never too soon to start investing, whether you’re new to The Doolin Group or your parents are clients. One of our great joys is helping young adults. Our team includes young professionals who understand the importance of developing sound money management habits that can lead to greater financial security over time—whether just starting careers, building families, or pursuing passions.
We also offer financial education programs, including mentoring first-time home buyers.
    Icon Image
    Establishing an Education Legacy
Funding for education is one of the greatest gifts to give to children, grandchildren, and others held dear. As education costs continue to rise there is a greater importance in preparing for the financial demands of private schools, higher education, and other types of academic pursuits. We help our client families create an education legacy for generations. For example, 529 College Savings plans can be a great estate planning tool that can be built to benefit multiple generations. We work with you to create tax advantages to investing for education expenses, while incorporating your tuition funding strategy into your personalized financial plan.
    Icon Image
    Creating a Legacy of Generosity
Through thoughtful planning, we help our client families use wealth to perpetuate and celebrate an existing legacy of giving or create a new legacy for future generations. Whether you are looking to gift to a family member or donate to a non-profit, we create flexible, tax efficient ways to make charitable contributions. Family giving is one of the best ways to strengthen family unity and subsequently preserve family wealth whether "giving while living" or when the estate transfers.

WHAT IS GENERATIONAL WEALTH PLANNING?
Generational Wealth Planning is when we prepare a financial, tax and estate plan—then add on a process to engage the entire family in planning conversations to prepare for a successful wealth transfer—one that preserves not only assets but also family values, unity, and purpose.

A successful wealth transfer happens when beneficiaries inherit and manage wealth in ways that foster happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Research tells us that our client families are more concerned about "being a good parent," not the amount of wealth that will be inherited. And since many family's wealth doesn't last beyond the third generation, the key difference lies in strong, open, and consistent communication.

HOW WE HELP FAMILIES PREPARE FOR GENERATIONAL WEALTH TRANSFER
At The Doolin Group, we take a whole-family approach to wealth management — one that includes passing down your values, family story, and vision for the future. We like to say we take wealth management "one step further" — measuring that step in generations.

For decades, we've helped families navigate generational transitions by asking one important question: If we aren't helping our clients make their wealth last for generations, what are we managing it for?

Family resources
Our approach offers families resources, tools, and conversations that foster meaningful discussions around wealth, legacy, and family purpose.

Our Generational Wealth Conversation Booklets include fresh perspectives, actionable checklists, and practical tools for families to use independently or with our support. Topics include:

  • Family History & Legacy
  • Family Financial Fitness
  • Family Estate Planning
  • Roles for Beneficiaries
  • Leaving a Legacy of Gratitude and Generosity
  • Guide to Family Meetings

Contact us to access these resources and start the conversation that could shape your family's future for generations to come.

Host Family Meetings
We provide agendas and conversation topics. Some meetings are family-led, while others we're invited to lead.

Beyond the Conversation: Engaging the Whole Family
We also guide families in actions that reinforce financial education, generosity, and shared purpose:

  • Giving While Living: Thoughtfully pass on wealth during your lifetime. Whether funding education, backing new ventures, or supporting causes, this creates opportunities to mentor younger generations in stewardship and generosity.
  • Family Charitable Giving: Create a family culture of generosity while making a positive difference in your community.
  • Legacy Education Funding: Invest in tax-free 529 accounts for future generations. These accounts can grow tax-free and be passed along within the family.
  • Roth IRA Gifting: Help young adult children or grandchildren start investing in tax-free growth accounts early, planting seeds for their financial futures.

OUR PASSION. YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

Inspiring, educating, and advising women to achieve financial leadership is both our priority and our passion. As women are expected to control the majority of U.S. wealth by the end of this decade, many will find themselves responsible for their family's financial future — whether by choice or circumstance.

We're here to ensure you have current, comprehensive financial, estate, and tax plans that reflect your priorities and are easy to understand. No matter your life stage — whether you're single, married, building a career, raising a family, or planning for retirement —conficence comes from addressing the three key concerns for women:

  • Ensuring retirement assets for a lifetime
  • Preparing for healthcare and long-term care costs
  • Maintaining lifestyle and independence

YOUR PATHWAY TO FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP
We work with you to chart a clear, achievable path to financial leadership — helping you grow confident in making financial decisions, build a trusted advisory team, and prepare your family for the future.

Steps to Take:

  1. Organize and Share Important Records.
Keep a record of where your critical financial documents and personal records are stored, and designate a trusted individual to access them in case of emergency. Introduce us to this person as their primary point of contact. Ask us for a copy of our Financial Documents Locator to get started.
  2. Create a Financial Plan
Your financial plan will identify your current net worth, cash flow and future goals. While no one can predict the future, every woman should be prepared for the possibility of managing her own finances and that of her family. A personalized financial plan provides confidence for you and your family,
  3. Decide Your Level of Involvement.
You don't need to manage every detail — but you do need to lead a team of trusted advisors who support your goals. We're uniquely positioned to guide and coordinate with your other professionals to help deliver optimal outcomes for you and your family.
  4. Meet with Us Regularly.
Regardless of marital or relationship status, periodic meetings allow you to ask questions, review your priorities, and ensure your financial plans remain aligned with your goals. If you're married, it's vital to actively participate in meetings with all of your professional advisors and be involved in shaping your family's financial and estate plans.
  5. Involve Your Children.
At the appropriate time, we encourage you to share your estate plans with your children. You don't need to disclose amounts — simply your wishes, values, and the roles they may express an interest in filling (such as executor or trustee). We offer resources to help prepare your children and grandchildren to become confident in managing their inheritance, including using charitable giving as a tool to pass on your values. It's helpful for your adult children to understand the role The Doolin Group plays in supporting you today — and how we can assist them in the future.
  6. Model and Mentor Financial Leadership.
As you prepare yourself, take steps to prepare your family to confidently and responsibly manage wealth. This includes modeling financial leadership and creating opportunities to connect around shared family values that you would like to endure for generations. We're here to help!
