Meet The Des Moines Group
About Tom Hunt
Originally from Illinois, Tom grew up on a farm in the western part of the state. He attended the University of Illinois, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. Tom entered the financial services industry in 2001 after receiving his MBA in Finance from Western Illinois University.
In 2008, Tom and Jim Baker founded the Des Moines Group, applying the principle of putting clients first as the foundation of the practice. Taking the time to truly understand each client’s individual situation is at the heart of The Des Moines Group’s business. Employing a high touch service model, the team works with individuals and families throughout their lives; from their working years, when the focus is accumulation of assets, through retirement, when the focus shifts to distribution of assets.
Tom and his wife, Karen, live in Clive, Iowa, with their son, Jared. He currently serves as a board member for the non-profit, Can Play. In addition, Tom is active in the Clive Chamber of Commerce, West Des Moines Lions Club, Waukee Rotary Club, and Lutheran Church of Hope.
An avid golfer and sports enthusiast, Tom is a long-suffering fan of the University of Illinois, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

About James H Baker
Jim originally entered the financial services industry as a consultant, working with banks across the country, before joining the Des Moines branch of Shearson Lehman Brothers in 1991. Jim’s past experience in banking provide his clients with a multifaceted view of their investments.
After growing up in a small farming community in southwest Iowa, Jim graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. When he’s not working, Jim can be found with his hands in the dirt tending his garden or with his nose in one of his mother’s cookbooks. Jim is proud to represent a firm that is committed to giving back to the community. He is a past member of the board of the Iowa chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Children and Families of Iowa.

About John Victor
As a Certified Financial Planner, while working with his clients he is able to help create detailed asset and risk management, tax advantage, and legacy strategies to assist in meeting their most important goals. Having a well thought out plan which is implemented, monitored and adjusted as necessary is the cornerstone of one achieving their financial goals.
John combined his practice with The Des Moines Group due to their strong commitment to providing an outstanding client experience. With The Des Moines Groups collaborative-team approach, they can draw upon each other’s invaluable experience, insight, and expertise to enhance their clients outcomes.
John is married to Francie and they have three daughters all living in the Des Moines metro area. While John is not busy entertaining or attending his five grandchildren’s activities, he can be found out running, bicycling or reading. He is active in his church and has had the privilege of being a long time Big Brother with the Big Brother Big Sister of Central Iowa.

About Priscilla Dickinson Sayeed
Her seasoned team within the Morgan Stanley firm boasts a combined 80 plus years of experience delivering traditional investment practices and where appropriate, offering alternative strategies that seek to manage risk and maximize potential gains. She works with independent women and their families to develop a holistic approach to wealth management for each life stage, event, and generation. Expanding financial literacy among women has become a passion.
She attended the University of Kansas earning a bachelor of science. Priscilla spends a lot of her time volunteering and actively engaging in her community. She is a member of PEO Chapter HY and St Timothy’s Episcopal Church Altar Guild, THE Consortium, and The Des Moines Rotary AM. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and experiencing the outdoors through kayaking, bicycling, and skiing.
Priscilla resides in West Des Moines with the youngest of three children still at home. Priscilla holds her Series 7 General Securities and Series 66 Investment Advisor as well as Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses.

About Matthew Jens
Matt earned a B.A. from Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he studied business management and economics. Matt has been in the financial services industry since 2012.
Matt lives in Gilbert, Iowa, with his wife, Kelli, and their four children. He is active in his church, Ascension Lutheran Church (Ames), where he serves on the Stewardship and Finance Committee. Matt also serves on the board of the Gilbert Education Foundation, which provides classroom funding for teachers in the Gilbert Community School District. In his spare time, Matt enjoys fishing, boating, coaching and watching his kids play sports.

About Raegan Wagner
Raegan has earned the designation of Financial Planning Specialist while at Morgan Stanley, and she has been in the financial services industry since 2004. She received her B.A. in Business Management at Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Raegan lives in Cambridge, Iowa, with her husband, Peter, and their three children. She is actively involved with her church, Hope Ankeny, where she serves regularly as a Sunday school teacher for elementary-aged children. She also serves as Secretary of the Iowa Associated Saddle Club and is a committee member of the State of Iowa 4-H Horse Committee. In Raegan’s spare time, she enjoys gardening, showing horses, and coaching and watching her kids play sports.

About Zachary Bouslog
Zach graduated from the University of Iowa, where he earned Dean’s List. He lives firmly by his late grandfather’s motto, “It’s hard to be good, but harder to stay good,” hence he is currently pursuing his Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation through the American College of Financial Services.
Zach was born and raised in Des Moines and currently resides in Urbandale, IA with his wife, Kelsi, and their children Berkley and Bowen. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Des Moines AM Rotary Club. He is currently engaged in various philanthropic ventures in central Iowa and is a big supporter of the Blank Park Zoo.
In his spare time, he loves spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoys exploring nature and parks with their children, playing golf, traveling, smoking meat and is an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

About Lisette Villalba Torres
During her time at Morgan Stanley, she has demonstrated to be an integral part of the team due to her diligent customer service skills and adaptability to assist the team no matter the task.
Originally, from Beloit, Wisconsin, Lisette now resides in West Des Moines. She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying active by going hiking and jogging.
