Ian is a First Vice President at Morgan Stanley. He holds the title of Corporate Retirement Director and Portfolio Manager. Ian acts as a fiduciary for many of his clients. These clients include individuals, corporations, trusts, foundations, and other institutions across the country. He has a passion for goal-oriented financial planning and customizing solutions to meet individual client needs. Each client is unique, as are their needs.

Ian has a master’s in business administration (MBA) from University of Rochester and a B.S in Finance from Canisius College. He is a Certified Financial Planner TM (CFP®) and a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC). Ian holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Passion for financial advice:
Ian began his career as an intern at Merrill Lynch. After college he was trained as a credit analyst at M&T Bank, which offered him a deeper understanding of how to manage both sides of the balance sheet. He engages in both asset and liability discussions with his clients. After the financial crisis of 2008-2009, Ian saw an opportunity to help individuals and institutions recover, and joined Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. For the past 14 years he has works as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, UBS Financial Services, and Morgan Stanley.
Outside Morgan Stanley:
As a native of WNY and a father, Ian is passionate about both professional and youth sports in WNY. Ian and his wife, Elise, are members of the Delaware Park community in Buffalo. Ian and Elise have three children, Bruno, Eva, and Douglas. Ian is an active participant with Delaware Soccer Club and Ian and Elise support local soccer in WNY. Ian also partners with the Hardy Mendez Angel Fund which raises scholarships to provide disadvantaged Buffalo youth better educational opportunities. Ian’s favorite activity is spending time outdoors with his family.

About Julius Tamasy
Known for his depth of knowledge and passion for serving others, Julius Tamasy advises a broad range of clients across the United States including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, trusts, medical professionals, business owners, and athletes. He takes deep interest in thoroughly understanding each client’s unique situation, developing a goals-based plan and guiding them towards achieving financial success.
Julius began his career at Citigroup in 2015 where he supported the Institutional Clients Group covering Over-The-Counter (OTC) Equity Derivatives sales and trading desks across North America. A year later his passion for working with individuals led him to Merrill Lynch where he launched his wealth management career. In 2022, he joined Morgan Stanley as a Vice President where he now serves his clients. As a designated Portfolio Manager, Julius helps clients pursue their investment objectives by managing portfolios on a discretionary basis. For qualifying clients, he also uses Alternative Investments such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Fund, and Non-Traded Real Estate strategies.
Julius holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York where he was named captain of their NCAA Ice Hockey team and named to the ECAC All-Academic team. About Ryan Miller
Ryan joined Morgan Stanley as a member of the DeLuke Tamasy Group in April 2024. Ryan has always had a deep interest in supporting the well-being of others and the ability to connect with our clients and help ensure their needs are being met is highly satisfying to him.
In preparation for his career, Ryan graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance. Ryan was an active member of his schools community, serving as one of the captains on the universities club golf team and was a member of the School of Management’s leadership development program.
As a native of Buffalo, NY, Ryan likes to give back to the community, playing annually in charity hockey games. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing hockey and golf with friends and family.
