The Cushman Group is a diverse but tightly knit Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management team with over 40 years of experience. Brad Cushman and his father, Robert Cushman, have served a variety of multigenerational High Net Worth families and institutions around the world, building long standing relationships with trusted advice (until Bob’s retirement in 2018). We take a holistic, tailored, and advanced planning based approach that is grounded in investment strategies, but covers virtually every aspect of client’s financial life, including risk management, liabilities, trust and estate planning techniques and complex family dynamics. Our multigenerational team is honored to work with the children, grandchildren and parents of important clients and takes pride in educating and empowering clients to help achieve their unique personal goals and life aspirations.

About Bradford Cushman

Brad Cushman CFP™ is a Financial Advisor, Alternative Investments Director & Senior Portfolio Management Director. He joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in 1997. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Brad was a Senior Underwriter and Product Manager at AIG. He was also an underwriter in the Executive Protection department and a securities analyst at Chubb Securities. He received an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College.

Brad is a contributor to the financial media, most recently in the US News and World Report piece ‘The Greenback’s slide may endure.’ and named one of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys being outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, and rock climbing. She lives in Long Island, NY, with her husband Alan and their two sons.

About Alan Chan

Alan Chan joined the Cushman Group at Morgan Stanley in 2010 and is now the team’s Senior Client Service Associate. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Alan was a Junior Technology Associate at TM Capital Corporation. Alan received a B.S. in Finance from St. John's University’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business and graduated Cum Laude.

Out of the office, Alan enjoys volunteering with his church at homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and senior housing facilities. He spent two weeks in Haiti, serving the villages and orphanages around Titanyen and Leveque. He also enjoys learning new coffee brewing methods, traveling to Hawai’i, and spending time with his wife Joanne and their dog Bagel the Beagle.
