Our team has over 130 years of financial experience across cycles and asset classes including private wealth management, equity and fixed income specializations, financial planning and asset allocation, investment banking, commodity brokerage and trading, private markets/ private equity sourcing and underwriting. The diversity and integration of our backgrounds has unlocked meaningful value and points of connectivity with our existing and new clients.

We work as an extension of individuals and their families, effectively operating as a family office. Our team collaborates with our clients on financial and estate planning and we build customized portfolios for individuals, their generations and businesses throughout various life stages. This aligns with our team’s complimentary and integrated background across asset classes as well as two generations of financial advisors. As we grow with families, we are aligned through our own team succession plan, which provides continuity and redundancy for clients.

    eDelivery
    eDelivery provides you with the ability to view statements and other Firm documents electronically in lieu of paper. Clients who are registered in Morgan Stanley Online may enroll in eDelivery. Currently, documents available through eDelivery include statements, trade confirmations and prospectuses, general correspondence, selected Internal Revenue Service (IRS) approved tax documents, syndicate offerings, shareholder communications, and portfolio reports.

About Andrew L Cushman

Andy is an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director in the Private Wealth Management Division of Morgan Stanley. He has managed separate accounts for 38 years and has 45 years of investment experience in equity, fixed income, and balanced accounts. Andy joined Morgan Stanley in September 1989. Previously he was with Brown Brothers, Harriman & Co. where he spent 11 years as a portfolio manager. He began his career at Chemical Bank in 1975.

Andy is a 1975 graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in English. Andy resides with his wife Lyn in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has three grown children.

About William Curry

Bill is a Financial Advisor in the Wealth Management Division of Morgan Stanley. He draws on institutional experience to help clients with their comprehensive wealth management needs, including, alternative assets, trust and estate planning, cash management, financial planning, lending services and insurance. Bill joined Morgan Stanley in January 2018. From 2015-2017 he was Vice President of Energy Markets with Evolution Markets, where he co-ran the Natural Gas desk. Prior to Evolution, he worked for ICAP United from 2009-2014, where he climbed the ranks to become a Senior Broker, and Branch Manager.

In addition, Bill was named to Forbes Magazine’s List of Best-in-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors in 2024.

Bill is a 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. While a student, Bill was a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team, where he was acknowledged as a four-year Scholar Athlete and three-time Academic All-Big Ten.

Bill lives with his wife, Julia, his son, Wick, and daughter, Caroline, in Long Island.

About Carl Higbie

Carl has devoted an entire career to the financial services industry. He joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2013 after building a successful practice over eight years at UBS Financial Services. Previously, Carl managed a long/short equity portfolio at Graham Capital Management, a large well known hedge fund. Carl gained important equity and fixed income market experience as an investment banker for 19 years with the securities affiliate of the Toronto Dominion Bank and Salomon Brothers Inc. Carl began his career with General Motors in its New York treasurer’s office.

Carl is a 1974 graduate of Claremont McKenna College (BA economics) and a 1977 graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Carl resides with his wife Maria in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has three grown children.

About Nina Daugherty

Nina is a Financial Advisor in Wealth Management. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2023, Nina spent her career focused on alternatives, primarily private equity. She brings a background in asset allocation and advisory as well as sourcing and evaluating opportunities as a primary investor and on behalf of retail and institutional investors. Over the years and across cycles, Nina has evaluated and partnered with a broad and diverse opportunity set across different strategies, industries, sizes, geographies and managers.

More specifically, prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Nina worked at Stanwich Advisors, an independent investment bank focused exclusively on providing capital raising and advisory services to private equity firms and investors globally. Nina joined Stanwich Advisors in 2016 and was focused on origination, due diligence, distribution and helped with project management. Before Stanwich, Nina was a Brand Director with Pure Growth Partners, a consumer-packaged goods platform. She enjoyed working with all constituents and across all aspects of the business to execute multiple product lines from ideation / inception to on shelf. Prior to Pure Growth, Nina worked at Quilvest Private Equity, a global investment firm that started as a family office. At Quilvest, Nina specialized in co-investments and fund investments. She focused on underwriting opportunities and project management, honing her qualitative and quantitative due diligence skills across strategies and managers globally. Nina began her career at Lehman Brothers/ Neuberger Berman and spent a summer at the hedge fund, Moore Capital Management.

Nina graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts where she also played Varsity Ice Hockey and Field Hockey. After many years in NYC, Nina now lives in Greenwich with her son Charlie.

About Danielle Renzo

Danielle is a Wealth Management Associate in the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Division at Morgan Stanley. She graduated from Pace University, cum laude, in 2002 with a BA in Business Management. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2004 in the PWM Client Reporting division managing the Client/Performance reporting team, and became a Sales Associate in PWM in 2010. Currently, Danielle focuses on client service, reporting analysis, and trading for our team. She holds Series 7 and 66 registrations. Danielle lives in Westchester County with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

About Shannon Daine

Shannon joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2021 as a Client Service Associate. After obtaining her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, she became a Registered Client Service Associate in 2022. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she began her career in the financial services industry with Ameriprise Financial as a Client Services Manager.

Shannon graduated from Villanova University in 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science, as well as minors in Business and Spanish. She currently lives in Stamford, CT, and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
