When we sit down together to talk for the first time, we’re going to get to the heart of what’s truly important in your life. The better we understand your financial needs, your long-term goals and expectations, as well as your fears and challenges, the better we can customize a sound investment strategy for you.  We don’t make assumptions; instead, we listen carefully to your answers before building your financial plan.

From an investment perspective, we have always believed that most of a portfolio’s performance can be attributed to asset allocation by category. We employ a sophisticated strategy that is designed to help mitigate risk and enhance returns in your investment portfolio.

In addition, we believe you should be able to liquidate your assets at any time without fear of penalty. That means that your investment portfolio will be designed to easily accommodate sudden changes in your life without costing you dearly. In addition, because we do not charge you on a commission or transactional basis, our success is tied to yours. When your investments do well, our compensation increases. When your investment performance is less satisfactory, our compensation decreases.

Drawing on Rich’s skills as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, we build, implement and monitor a personalized financial plan that is tailored to meet your level of comfort with risk, provide you with necessary liquidity and outlines specific steps to achieve your goals.
Every client deserves to receive exceptional service while getting our very best investment counsel. Our support staff has been with our team for the majority of their careers, which means we all know each of our clients personally. In fact, we can usually recognize your voice on the phone without looking at caller ID. We pride ourselves on being available at all times to take your calls, answer your questions and fulfill your requests in a timely manner. When you talk with us, you receive our full attention and become the most important person to us in that moment.

We make it a point to proactively engage with you on a regular basis about your portfolio’s progress as well as any changes in your life. Our clients rely on us for a lot more than investment advice. We are privileged to be the “first call” for countless client decisions, whether it’s a career move, a real estate purchase, a health care decision, or simply transferring money between accounts. We treat you with respect and care, and are rewarded by your respect and trust. Our commitment to delivering outstanding service is based on our authentic dedication to helping you live the life you desire.

About Richard Croasdaile

Richard E. Croasdaile, III, CFP®
Managing Director – Wealth Management
Financial Advisor

I lead the team’s financial planning and investment practice. My extensive knowledge and experience in retirement, estate, education, philanthropic, income planning and analysis allows me to quarterback the creation of wealth plans for affluent families. I am responsible for the ongoing due diligence of our client portfolios and have completed rigorous coursework and examinations to earn the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM certification.

Whether they’re a busy CEO or retired teacher, the people I serve are smart. They work hard to achieve specific goals for their family, their business and themselves and we approach each situation together with a combination of knowledge, focus and compassion. My goal is to protect and preserve the fruits of their labor, while also growing their assets towards future dreams.

I am a proud graduate of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, and of Furman University in South Carolina. After graduation, I worked for Dun & Bradstreet as a business analyst and divisional manager before joining Kidder Peabody as a Financial Advisor. I moved to Merrill Lynch in 1987, where I was heralded for my ability to select and monitor outside managers. I was also recognized as having the most organized and disciplined investment process and service model in all of the company. I became a sought after keynote speaker to other Advisors around the country, counseling them on how to provide outstanding service to their clients.

In 2017, my team and I joined Morgan Stanley’s offices in Pepper Pike, Perrysburg and Canton, Ohio, where we continue to provide highly personalized, family focused wealth management to generations of loyal clients across the nation.

Outside of work, I have been The Senior Warden of my church, worked with Junior Achievement and coached numerous youth sports teams. My wife, Connie, and I live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We are the proud parents of two accomplished daughters, Caroline and Lauren and enjoy spending time with our two young grandchildren.

About Lauren Croasdaile Erb

Lauren Croasdaile
Financial Advisor

The path that I traveled to Morgan Stanley provides me with some rare perspectives as a Financial Advisor. I find it especially rewarding to assist and build relationships with “the next generation” of clients’ families and young couples beginning their financial journeys.

My ability to listen closely to clients and clearly communicate strategies began in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I worked for a year at HubSpot, a cutting edge software company. Later, I moved to Australia, where I spent four years in advertising and digital marketing in a client-facing role, working directly with C-suite marketing directors of well-known Fortune 1000 companies. Of course, my appreciation of wise financial behavior began at a young age, learning from my father (and now colleague) about the importance of saving early and often, and following a disciplined, goals based strategy. I joined my father’s team at Merrill Lynch in 2015 and moved with him and the team to Morgan Stanley in 2017.

A graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Like my father, I am an alumnus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. I grew up in Toledo, Ohio and currently reside in Chagrin Falls with my husband and two young children.

About Kristie Kwiatkowski

I am proud to celebrate more than 25 years in the financial industry, as well as long-term relationships with clients that span multiple generations. A lifelong resident of Toledo-Maumee area, I began my career as a teller at Society Bank, eventually becoming a supervisor and team leader at Society National Bank (when its name changed). I joined the Croasdaile Group in 1996. In addition to answering clients’ inquiries and handling their transactional and account requests, I serve as a liaison for our clients between other team members and specialists throughout the firm.

My husband, Bob, and I spend most of our free time with our daughter and two sons – watching them play baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, golf, gymnastics, and singing and dancing. To “relax,” I enjoy coaching my kids, traveling, and rooting for the Detroit Tigers, and the football teams of University of Toledo and University of Michigan. I am a board member of The Jenn & Jane’s Safe House for Women & Children and am active in events to protect against domestic violence, and support Breast Cancer Awareness, U.S Veterans, and Progeria.

About Julian “Julie” R. Leslie

As a Client Service Associate, I am the primary point of contact for many of our team’s clients. I am committed to handling every request in a timely and accurate fashion and I enjoy delivering first-class customer service with each interaction. I joined the Croasdaile Group in 1998, after working for three years at Key Bank.

I grew up in Maumee, Ohio and attended the University of Toledo. Today, I reside in Perrysburg Township with my fiancée, Troy Miller, and my dog, Bailey. My favorite “away from the office” moments include rooting for University of Michigan basketball and Detroit Tigers baseball teams, and serving others through several volunteer efforts.
