About Henry Self
Henry Self is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, where he helps families and individuals build confidence and gain clarity around their financial lives. He brings a disciplined, planning-driven approach to every client relationship, rooted in thoughtful communication and long-term strategy.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Henry served nine years as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the United States Navy. Henry earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he further refined his analytical and strategic skill set. He is passionate about helping people from all walks of life navigate major transitions, plan for their future, and make confident financial decisions.
Outside of work, Henry lives an active, family-centered life. He is married to his wife, Laura, and together they have two children, Noah and Magnolia. He enjoys health and fitness and is currently training for a marathon—an extension of the discipline and perseverance that define both his personal and professional life.
