At The Charton Group, we have the privilege of serving a diverse range of clients from across the nation. However, our roots firmly lie in the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts. This location provides us with the unique opportunity to work with a highly accomplished clientele, including corporate executives, entrepreneurs, sports and entertainment professionals, business owners, and successful individuals in other fields.

About David Charton
David recognizes that life constantly changes. As a result, strategies must evolve and proactive advice must be given. By developing close relationships, having open dialogue, and educating his clients, David is able to help guide them through the ever changing political, social, and economic landscape. Depending upon where a client is in their life cycle, David can assist with the accumulation, preservation, or transition of their wealth.
David becomes thoroughly familiar with his clients, their families, their needs and their aspirations. Building on that understanding, he helps guide his clients in making decisions regarding the allocation of their financial resources, while seeking to ensure they are well-informed about, and comfortable with, how those decisions may impact their futures.

This award was issued on2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 based on an evaluation process as described below. This evaluation was not based on a specific time period, but was conducted by Five Star Professional (FSP) that considered, among other factors, the following:
• Favorable regulatory and complaint history review. As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not: 1.) Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; 2.) Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed, or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process.
• Personal bankruptcy filing within the past 11 years.
• Termination from a financial services firm within the past 11 years.
• Conviction of a felony.
• One-year client retention rate.
• Five-year client retention rate.
Five Star Professional, as a third party research firm, identified pre-qualified award candidates based on industry data and contacted all identified broker dealers, Registered Investment Advisor firms and FINRA-registered representatives to gather wealth manager nominations. Self-nominations are not accepted. Wealth managers and/or their firms do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers.

About Jessica Birkins
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
Jessica began her career in financial services in 2010, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2017 as a Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Team Leader and Internal Wholesaler at Eaton Vance.
Jessica is a graduate of the Connecticut College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She lives in Scituate, Massachusetts with her family. Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, running, and reading.
About Christina Cecchino
Associate Private Bankers partner with Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
Christina began her career in financial services in 2018 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 as a Vice President in Experienced Manager Development. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Financial Advisor and Market Developer at Thrivent Financial. She also served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch.
Christina is a graduate of the Texas A&M University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband. Outside of the office, Christina enjoys running, going to the beach, and golfing.
