A results-driven Financial Advisor with 25 years of industry experience, Michael combines his deep knowledge of wealth management with solid leadership skills and a disciplined, consultative, and educational approach to guide affluent families and business leaders towards the achievement of their specific financial goals. His areas of concentration include asset management, risk and liability management, philanthropic planning and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies.

In October 2024, Michael earned the elite title of Family Wealth Director, awarded to those Financial Advisors who have extensive experience working with Ultra High Net Worth clients and have undergone rigorous training. Michael earned the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP^®) designation in 2003, demonstrating his commitment to helping clients address the complicated issues facing today’s wealthy families. As a seasoned wealth manager, Michael has experience with total wealth management design, investment allocation, capital markets research and trading, offshore trust development for non-U.S. residents, restricted stock and specialized transactions, trade execution and portfolio performance appraisals. His knowledge in alternative investments and their role in the asset allocation process is an integral part of his practice.

Michael began his career in 1992 with Shearson Lehman Brothers. He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Adelphi University. Michael was named a Morgan Stanley President’s Club Advisor (2019- 2026) & to Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2021-2025). He splits his time between New York City and Candlewood Lake, CT with his wife and two children.

As a Senior Partner for The BTW Group, Kate leads our Family Wealth Advisory practice where she is responsible for Client Engagement, Investment Oversight and Coordination of all of our clients Financial/Estate/Philanthropic planning strategies. Her practice includes uniquely successful entrepreneurs, multi-generational families and nonprofits, with a special emphasis on empowering women.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2000, Kate was an investment banker for a boutique firm advising entrepreneurs through various stages of capital raises, leveraging her experience in cap tables. She received her B.A. degree from Villanova University and an International Accreditation from the University of London. She also completed the Certified Portfolio Management^® program from Columbia University and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP^®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner^® Board of Standards, an independent regulatory organization. In 2024, Kate earned the exclusive title of Family Wealth Director; a title only awarded to Financial Advisors who have extensive experience working with Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Kate is currently on Villanova University’s Board of Trustees and was formerly on the Advisory Council for Villanova's McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership. She is the first female President for the Villanova Financial Club and received the 2020 VUAA Volunteer Award for Distinguished Service. Kate formerly served as Co-Chair for Morgan Stanley’s National Financial Advisor Advisory Council for over 5 years, where she liaised with Senior Management on strategic initiatives for both the firm and our clients. She was recently on the Board of Directors for Concern Worldwide (US) a global humanitarian organization, whose mission is to end extreme poverty and was named Concern Worldwide’s “2016 Woman of Concern,” honoring her commitment to humanitarian efforts. She was formerly on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Executive Circle of New York (WECNY), and is a Founding Member of LIFT, Morgan Stanley’s Women’s Business Development Council. She has been named a Morgan Stanley President’s Club Advisor (2019-2026), to Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2018-2025), Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors (2020-2026), Working Mother magazine’s “Top Wealth Advisor Moms" (2017-2021), and to the 2019 Class of MAKERS, that recognize groundbreakers, innovators and advocates to advance women in the workplace. Kate splits her time between Manhattan and Stratton, VT with her husband and three children and loves to cook, ski, golf, read and explore.

Michael joined Morgan Stanley and the BTW Group in 2015 and has served in various roles including as an Associate, Consulting Group Analyst, and Director of Business Strategy, where he led research and investment management efforts. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst^® (CFA^®) charterholder.

Originally from Waterbury, Connecticut, Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Boston College. He holds both the Series 7 and 66 registrations with FINRA, and is a Licensed Insurance Agent in the State of New York (NY Insurance License #1784644).

Michael was named in Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors (2024-2026) and to Morgan Stanley’s Pacesetter’s Club (2025-2026). He is a supporter of Children in the Wilderness, a non-profit organization which aims to facilitate sustainable conservation through leadership development and education of children in Africa. A resident of New York City, he enjoys spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, reading, and traveling.

Geri began her career in financial services at Lazard Freres. She joined The BTW Group in 2014 and has been an integral member of the team ever since. A graduate of Hofstra University with a B.B.A. degree in Finance, se currently holds the Series 7 and 63 FINRA registrations and insurance licensed. Geri is most proud of her two children.

Jen Generoso joins the BTW Group as our Business Development Director and leads our team in implementing strategies to execute our business plan while ensuring our clients are provided with first class service. Her extensive knowledge of Morgan Stanley’s products, services & capabilities provides our clients with an efficient and pleasant interaction every time.

Prior to joining our team, she was the Business Development Director of one of the 2022 Forbes America’s Top Wealth Management Teams.

Jen began her tenure with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2013 as a Senior Registered Associate, bringing with her 8 years of experience with UBS Financial Services Inc. During her time at UBS she worked in back office operations with various trading & service desks, such as mutual funds, Taxable Fixed Income, Treasury Auction & 10b5-1 Trading Plans. She also successfully completed UBS’ Branch Management Training Program.

Jen received her B.S. in Business Management from St. John’s University and holds the Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 licenses. She lives in Staten Island, New York with her husband and two children. In her free time, Jen enjoys yoga and making memories with her family.
