Working With You

  • As your life evolves, not only does your financial strategy become more complex, but your options for implementing it increase as well. At The BTW Group, we use a goals-based process that measures success by how you’re progressing toward meeting the goals most important to you.

This forward-thinking approach enables us to design and implement appropriate solutions to help empower you to achieve and maintain financial success. Ultimately, goals-based investing empowers you to be more confident in your investment decisions now and in the future.

    Our Wealth Management Process
  • Step 1: Understanding You
We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your goals and the goals of your family, the concerns you have and what you ultimately would like to achieve.
  • Step 2: Analyzing Your Needs
Next, we review your current and future financial situation, identify the likelihood of reaching your goals, and address any potential shortfalls or the impact of unexpected life events.
  • Step 3: Tailoring Your Solution
We prepare a comprehensive investment policy statement for you that addresses your individual income and cash flow needs, investment objectives and guidelines, and risk/return parameters.
  • Step 4: Carrying Out Your Choices
With our guidance, you’ll have access to a comprehensive array of strategies, services and programs that can collectively provide you with the foundation for implementing and delivering your financial strategy.
  • Step 5: Continuously Reviewing
We monitor your progress on a daily basis and review the performance through quarterly calls and meetings. We may recommend adjustments over time due to changing market conditions or changes in your circumstances to help keep you on track towards achieving your goals.

When you work with us, you will be treated with respect, care and an unwavering commitment to you and your family.
  • We strive to build deep and enduring relationships with our clients and have found we work best with individuals and families who favor:

    A multi-generational view of family
A 360 degree view of your finances
A long-range focus on achieving your goals, not beating benchmarks
    A conservative approach to investing
Open conversations about wealth planning and investment expectations

1Morgan Stanley offers a wide array of brokerage and advisory services to its clients, each of which may create a different type of relationship with different obligations to you. Please consult with your Financial Advisor to understand these differences.

2Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC (“Morgan Stanley”), its affiliates and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors or Private Wealth Advisors do not provide tax or legal advice. Clients should consult their tax advisor for matters involving taxation and tax planning and their attorney for legal matters.

Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
