A native of Nova Scotia, Stephen immigrated to the United States for his education and the opportunity to become a Wealth Advisor. More than 28 years later, he is still helping clients approach their financial futures with greater ease and confidence through comprehensive financial planning and personalized investment management.
Stephen is a Morgan Stanley Family Wealth Advisor who is well qualified to help clients navigate the complexities that often accompany wealth. As the team’s Portfolio Manager and certified through the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers, he has earned the Morgan Stanley Senior Portfolio Management Director designation that entitles him to provide clients with discretionary investment management. He has also earned the Morgan Stanley designation of Alternative Investments Director. Stephen has developed several proprietary investment models focused primarily on US stocks, bonds, and alternative investments.
A graduate of Andrews University in Michigan with a BA in History, Stephen became a US citizen in 2010 and completed his executive education through Columbia University and the Wharton School of Business. Stephen supports the Northstar Relief Fund and John Wayne Cancer Foundation. He is honored to have served as a member of both the Pacific Coast Region Advisor Council and the Firm’s National Financial Advisor Advisory Council. He is passionate about the Firm’s development and volunteers on several pilot programs within the firm, and has made himself available as mentor to those who are looking to learn from his experience.
Stephen is proud to be the father and stepfather to four terrific children. He enjoys traveling near and far as well as running, cycling, and playing hockey. Stephen has run the NYC Marathon three times in support of the American Cancer Society with the Morgan Stanley and Friends marathon team, most recently in 2021, crossing the finish line with his wife and business partner Theresa Wile.
Stephen loves what he does and finds it incredibly rewarding. He is grateful to have been able to do this for nearly 3 decades so far and appreciates every moment he gets to serve clients and their families.

Theresa began her career in Financial Services in 1995 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010. She was a Senior Private Banker in Beverly Hills, CA and previously served as the Loan Portfolio Manager for the Pacific Coast Region with Morgan Stanley Private Bank. She holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation, administered by the Investments and Wealth Institute in conjunction with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Theresa thrives on making the complex simple and her biggest priority is helping our clients have confidence in their financial journey. She does this by providing a listening ear regarding what is truly important to them and then creating a customized financial plan designed to accomplish those objectives. The responsibility of earning and maintaining a client’s trust, knowing they have a roadmap that will help guide them toward achieving their most significant goals, is one she takes very seriously.
Theresa is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, where she earned her Bachelor of Science with the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance. She is the proud mother of amazing teenage twins and two lovely stepdaughters. She enjoys being active, traveling, and skiing with the family whenever she can. She is an avid runner and discovered marathon training in 2019. Since then, she has run three marathons with her husband, Stephen, and most recently ran the 50th NYC Marathon with the Morgan Stanley and Friends team, benefiting the American Cancer Society.
She is grateful to have the privilege of working with her husband and best friend as her business partner to serve our terrific clients every day alongside our superb team of professionals at The Bridgewater Group.

About Giovanna Svenson
Gio believes in an environment of teamwork and fostering an encouraging atmosphere for all team members - and it translates through to a positive client experience. She also believes that mentoring and coaching helps teams perform at their best and has participated in several firm pilot programs to continually enhance the firm’s offerings. Giovanna is proud to be a self-starter who works to be as efficient as possible in caring for clients’ needs. Giovanna is very happy with her move to Idaho in 2020 and appreciates the ample opportunities it provides to participate in outdoor activities. She enjoys traveling internationally and having adventures with her husband and two very successful adult daughters. She also keeps her energy up by daily physical activity, including yoga and taking walks.

Debbi's extensive knowledge helps her provide personal comprehensive assistance and she welcomes the opportunity to serve our clients and their families. Her multifaceted responsibilities include assuring a high level of client service and efficiently administering day-to-day operations. She takes pride in developing a close connection with our clients so that everyone knows how important they are to us. Not only does Debbi have extensive industry experience, but she also brings lots of positive energy with her.
Her accomplishments include serving as the Annual Appeal Coordinator for the Boise Branch and participation in several pilot programs within the firm. Outside of the office, Debbi enjoys spending time with her two incredible children, hiking in the local foothills with her adorable dog, as well as gardening and reading.

Dwight began his career in financial services in 1996, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Business Banking Area Manager at Wells Fargo. He also served as a Senior Business Relationship Manager and Business Development Officer at Wells Fargo.
Dwight is a graduate of the California State Polytechnic University - Pomona, where he received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Education. He lives in Monrovia, California with his family. Outside of the office, Dwight enjoys spending time with his family in outdoor activities.

Peter began his career in financial services in 1984, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Banking Specialist at U.S. Bank.
Peter is a graduate of Columbia University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Comparative Literature. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He lives in Glendale, California with his family. Outside of the office, Peter enjoys, hiking, playing bass guitar and reading.
About Joy Quiza

Joy began her career in financial services in 2007, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2021 as a Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Premier Banker II at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
Joy is a graduate of Centro Escolar University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband. Joy is the founder of Alexis Louise Quiza (ALQ) Children’s Foundation, and past president of the Filipino American Business Association of Glendale – Greater Los Angeles from 2018-2019. Outside of the office, Joy volunteers in various community events serving the AAPI community. She and her husband love to travel and enjoy the joy their daughter and three dogs bring in their lives.
