      Meet The Brewer Team

      About Me

      Bill and his family moved to Bend in 1988 to start his career as a financial professional.  Stimulated not only by the investment side of the business (Bill graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a BS in Business Administration, concentration Finance), but also by helping clients plan to achieve their short and long term goals.  The natural progression for Bill was to obtain his Certified Financial Planner™ designation which he did in 1992.  He was one of the first individuals in Central Oregon to do so.  With the formation of the Brewer Team, Bill has been able to focus on his two main professional interests, planning for his client’s future and implementing and managing their assets to help them achieve those goals.

      Helping keep Bend a great place to live also requires giving back to the community.  In addition to being a co-founder and past Chair of the Deschutes Childrens Foundation and co-founder and past President of Mt. Bachelor Rotary, he has also served on the boards of United Way of Central Oregon and the Humane Society of Central Oregon.  After seeing first-hand the impact that these organizations, their staff and volunteers have on communities, the Brewer Team has developed a suite of investment options that demonstrate positive social and environmental impact.  They are very excited to be able to present these options to their clients.

      Passionate about the outdoors and small town living, Bill and his family enjoy life on their small “hobby” farm.  Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, paddling, camping, fruit and vegetable gardening and working with their Labrador retrievers.  Bill is also a multi-disciplined chef, and enjoys sharing those skills with friends and family.

      Chris’ great passion is ensuring that his clients feel comfortable and confident in their financial plan. He helps clients discover the avenues available to them in achieving their goals and bringing greater financial clarity and stability to their unique situation.

      As a member of The Brewer Team, Chris focuses on uncovering  investment opportunities for clients and acts as the steward and portfolio strategist for the team’s various investment portfolios. By managing risk and focusing on research-based investment methods, Chris works to deliver investment strategies to clients that serve in their best interests.

      Chris has been in the financial services industry since 2014. Prior to joining the team, Chris lent his expertise in marketing and corporate communications to NovaTech LLC as their lead Marketing Communications Specialist in Owings Mills, Maryland. A lifelong Oregonian, he graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon in Eugene.

      In his free time, Chris loves to play and explore with his wife Alicia and son Weston. He also loves to cook, is a total history nerd, and never misses an opportunity to try new things. Grateful for an amazing group of friends and family in the community, Chris makes sure to advocate for positive change and preserving the amazing lifestyle that is customary in Central Oregon.

      About Me

      Carol has been serving clients in the Financial Services industry for over 28 years.  The last seven years have been with Morgan Stanley.  Her area of focus includes enhancing client relationships by ensuring a high level of client service and account operation.  She also assists in the implementation of client financial planning goals.  Carol coordinates the team’s overall day to day operations.  She is Series 7 & 66 licensed.

      Carol attended Central Oregon Community College and has lived in Bend since 1984.  She and her husband Jim and son Jacob enjoy many of the great outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer.
