About Robert Roenitz

Bob has more than 45 years of experience, and as a Family Wealth Director, a designation earned by fewer than 3% of all Morgan Stanley advisors as of July 2016, he is able to offer a broad array of experience, knowledge, and access to services of particular importance to ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Bob develops long-term financial plans for his clients and provides guidance in all areas of their financial lives. His ongoing commitment to this mission is defined by three principles: a comprehensive approach, investment strategies to help meet needs and goals, and personalized service.

As a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Bob has demonstrated a high level of consulting knowledge with asset allocation, ethics, due diligence, risk measurement, investment policy reviews and performance measurement. In addition, he has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ (CRPS) designation which enables him to provide sound advice and guidance to employers offering defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

In 2017, Bob has been named as one of Barron’s “Top 1,200 Advisors”, which is a testament to his experience, professionalism, and dedication to his clients. He attended Boston College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.

Bob is pleased to share he has again been included in Forbes ranking of the nation’s Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, now for 2023. Selection for the Best-In-State ranking is based on a host of criteria, including firm nomination, industry experience and best practices.

When he is not working with clients, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and boating. He is a parish trustee and an active member of a variety of committees in his church.

14Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice.
