- Allen Lakein, Author

As your life evolves, not only do your finances become more complex, but the opportunities for effectively managing your assets increase as well. Often, evaluating these opportunities and wisely choosing among them may require the time and experience of a skilled financial advisor – one who not only understands your specific challenges, but has access to customized programs that can be properly utilized to provide you with solutions.

About Mil Parekh

Mil Parekh, CFP®
Executive Director
Portfolio Management Director
Family Wealth Advisor

With more than 17 years of wealth management experience, Mil has dedicated his entire career to providing customized advice and investment solutions to highly successful individuals, families, and business leaders. His disciplined approach is focused on helping his clients align their finances with their most important values and goals, so they can effectively grow, preserve, and transition their wealth.

Growing up in Lancaster, PA, Mil learned first-hand the power of having a strong financial advisor. His father, after emigrating from India, worked at a large corporation for many years. He invested significant assets in his 401(k), but then lost a good portion of it during the market crash of the late 1990s. This experience inspired Mil to pursue a profession that would help individuals and families make sound financial decisions. He set out to become a financial advisor, where he could educate his clients about important financial concepts and strategies and make a profound impact on the quality of their lives.

While earning his degree in Finance from George Washington University (GWU), Mil began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2000. Upon graduation, he joined the firm full-time and has been a valued member of the firm ever since. In 2007, he earned the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, demonstrating his commitment to helping clients address the complicated issues facing today’s high net worth families. He prides himself on his ability to put advanced financial planning concepts into action and works diligently to demystify the complexities of today’s financial markets. Mil has also been recognized as a Forbes Best in State Advisor, recognizing the top financial advisors in the state of Virginia, for 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Mil currently lives in Arlington, VA with his wife, Doreen, and their children, Dillon and Teddy. He serves as a professional mentor to current GWU undergraduate and graduate students. He also supports the philanthropic efforts of The Share & Care Foundation and is the treasurer and on the Board of Directors for The National Brain Tumor Society. When he’s not working directly with clients or actively volunteering, Mil enjoys coaching his children's' soccer teams, running, preparing for half-marathons, and playing tennis.

About Diane Kraft-Dziedzic

As a Financial Advisor, it is personally rewarding to help others to achieve their financial goals. Diane began her finance career after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston University and her MBA in Finance from The University of Notre Dame. She started in corporate finance, working as a Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager.  Like many parents, she chose to take a career break to focus on her sons when they were young. During those years she worked part time and served on committees, worked at countless events and programs, and raised thousands of dollars for academic and sports organizations in Fairfax County.

Things changed when Diane’s husband, David, was diagnosed with brain cancer. When he passed, she was inspired to help protect others from facing some of the difficulties her family had experienced. She completed the Certified Financial Planner certificate program, passed the CFP Board exam, and relaunched her finance career with Morgan Stanley.  For Diane, being a financial advisor is not only a career, but it has become a life calling.

Diane understands the importance of protecting and supporting one’s family. Family has always been the center of her life, including three wonderful sons and their dog. Beyond career and family, Diane is an active volunteer for Wings for Widows.
