We are firm believers in enhancing our skills and building our knowledge base, so our highly credentialed team can help you determine, plan for and reach your financial and personal goals. As a multi-generation, family-oriented team, we place a high value on kindness, relationships and excellent service. And we hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards for transparency and integrity. Finally, we treat your hard-earned wealth with care and respect – we seek value where it’s available and strive to keep costs as low as possible.

It comes down to our pledge to you – we will do everything we can to provide:

The Seven Principles: What We've Learned About Investing and Wealth Management

These Seven Principles, honed over years of experience, underpin our approach to managing wealth.
    Icon Image
    1) Success Begins With An Actionable Plan
To accomplish anything, you need a plan.

We’ve been constructing thoughtful, effective wealth management plans for decades.
    Icon Image
    2) Investment Performance Is Goal-Dependent
Reaching an arbitrary benchmark is less important than helping a client live the life they desire.

We create, manage and adjust each client portfolio based on specific goals.
    Icon Image
    3) Change Is Inevitable; Flexibility Is Crucial
“To expect the unexpected shows a thoroughly modern intellect.”

Oscar Wilde’s century-old quote rings true today. Every plan we create for our clients is agile enough to deal with life’s curve balls.
    Icon Image
    4) Trust What You Know, Know What You Trust
There are so many choices, so much data. What should you trust?

Separating the signal from the noise is a crucial part of building a successful portfolio.
    Icon Image
    5) Investments And Emotion Don’t Mix
A panicked investor sells in a declining market ... violating the classic "buy low, sell high" strategy.

Many poor decisions are driven by human emotion. As a "voice of reason" for our clients, we take emotion out of the process.
    Icon Image
    6) Risk And Uncertainty Are Facts Of Life
    Every investment carries risk.

By building a portfolio around a goal, we can aim for the ideal combination of appropriate return and minimal risk.
    Icon Image
    7) There’s No Excuse For Being Outworked
The financial world never stops. No-one knows what tomorrow may bring, so it pays to be ready.

Our team is structured so that we are available whenever our help is needed.

6When Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, its affiliates and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors (collectively, “Morgan Stanley”) provide “investment advice” regarding a retirement or welfare benefit plan account, an individual retirement account or a Coverdell education savings account (“Retirement Account”), Morgan Stanley is a “fiduciary” as those terms are defined under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (“ERISA”), and/or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”), as applicable. When Morgan Stanley provides investment education, takes orders on an unsolicited basis or otherwise does not provide “investment advice”, Morgan Stanley will not be considered a “fiduciary” under ERISA and/or the Code. For more information regarding Morgan Stanley’s role with respect to a Retirement Account, please visit www.morganstanley.com/disclosures/dol. Tax laws are complex and subject to change. Morgan Stanley does not provide tax or legal advice. Individuals are encouraged to consult their tax and legal advisors (a) before establishing a Retirement Account, and (b) regarding any potential tax, ERISA and related consequences of any investments or other transactions made with respect to a Retirement Account. Individuals should consult their tax advisor for matters involving taxation and tax planning and their attorney for matters involving trust and estate planning, charitable giving, philanthropic planning and other legal matters.

10The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
