The Basile Group works with a select group of High and Ultra High Net Worth families across the country, delivering high-touch, concierge-style financial services and investment management. The team prides themselves on their unique, relationship-driven service model, in which clients are treated like family, and provided accessibility, understanding, and advice. Many of their relationships have been established for decades.

The Basile Group’s goal is to allow their clients to be wealthy in all senses of the word – thoroughly enjoying their health, financial freedom, and experiences with family and friends. The team seeks to alleviate any financial stress that may take away from their clients’ ability to relax and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

With more than 33 years of experience in financial services, founder Joseph Basile is a friend and relationship manager, who delivers personalized service, keeping abreast of important life events and changes to financial needs. Along with his partner, Elizabeth Kinder, the team customizes each investment portfolio to fully take advantage of Morgan Stanley’s access to best-in-class investment managers, alternative investment solutions, and market research. Joe and Elizabeth provide on-going portfolio maintenance and investment manager monitoring to ensure that the investments selected to suit each client’s goals continue to align properly. The team leverages Morgan Stanley’s top notch financial planning resources, and incorporates lending and insurance solutions as appropriate. Additionally, for their clients with trusts, the team collaborates with any of Morgan Stanley’s twelve approved outside trust companies and the clients’ attorneys to set up and administer the requirements under each trust agreement. Jessica Cassetty serves as the clients’ primary point of contact for day-to-day financial needs, providing seamless account opening, money transfer, problem solving, access to lending, and all other required maintenance.

Meet The Basile Group

About Joseph Basile

Joseph Basile, originally from Cooperstown, NY, began his career in the financial industry at First Albany Corporation, providing insurance companies and regional banks with high quality municipal bonds. From there, Joe obtained his CLU and ChFC designations to hone in on his specialty, working with small business owners who maximized their potential with the help of his all-encompassing financial consulting, planning, and insurance service. He took his expertise to Prudential and transferred with his family to beautiful Naples, FL in 1999.

In 2000, Joe transitioned his career into wealth management. Many of his niche clients and contacts needed personal financial services beyond those required for their small businesses, so as an advisor, Joe was able to assist with the growth and maintenance of their hard-earned family assets as well. In the Spring of 2019, Joe and his teammates moved their practice from Merrill Lynch to Morgan Stanley, which was a perfect fit for The Basile Group’s close knit, exclusive group of High and Ultra High Net Worth families. Morgan Stanley, a tried and true investment house, has the multi-generational wealth management and estate planning resources necessary for their concierge-style business that places client service above all else.

Joe’s evolving vision for a boutique practice, granting clients direct access to the team, promotes the development of a deep understanding of who the clients are and what they’d like to achieve in life beyond the numbers. Joe and his team help clients realize what brings quality and purpose to their lives, especially the enjoyment of those coveted retirement years we all work so hard for. When making decisions for clients’ often complex major milestones, it is paramount to have a team of financial advocates behind you each step of the way. Joe takes pride in his ability to make life easier for his clients, who should more appropriately be referred to as family friends.

Joe and his family firmly believe in giving back to the community, donating time as well as dollars to help out and make a difference for the various causes they stand behind. Most recently, Joe’s family provided lunch for front line workers in a New York City hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joe and his wife Meredith seek to instill these charitable values in their three children, teaching them to give in small but meaningful ways such as gifting an extra pair of sneakers to a less fortunate classmate. The Basile family covets their Sicilian roots, placing travel, culture, and embracing culinary traditions at the forefront of their interests. They recently built an inviting backyard bocce court and enjoy sharing a game and a meal with friends of all ages.

About Elizabeth Kinder

Elizabeth Kinder, originally from Fairfield County, Connecticut, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a B.S. in Finance. She continued her education at Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, FL where she concentrated her studies on business law, providing her with a unique background in both the business and legal aspects of securities, trusts and estates, and contracts. After earning her J.D. in 2013, Elizabeth worked as a business consultant, providing advice aimed at the improvement of small business contracts and accounts payable.

In 2015, Elizabeth joined Joseph Basile’s boutique, high-touch investment advisory practice, where she successfully graduated the Merrill Lynch Financial Advisory program inclusive of all requisite training and licensing. In 2019, The Basile Group moved their practice from Merrill Lynch to Morgan Stanley, leveraging the firm's resources to focus on multi-generational wealth management and estate planning strategy necessary for their concierge-style business. As Joe’s junior partner, Elizabeth works closely with the team’s clients to discuss, understand, and align their financial goals with Morgan Stanley’s extensive library of investment vehicles. Elizabeth focuses on each family’s full financial picture, tailoring her search and selection of investment managers and products to create a custom-built solution. Elizabeth focuses on asset allocation for the team, designing, monitoring, and maintaining each customized investment portfolio. The team relies on Elizabeth to assist in the planning and transition of multi-generational wealth

Elizabeth and her husband, Andrew, were recently married in the spring of 2021 in beautiful Watch Hill, RI. Elizabeth and Andrew value quality time spent with family, friends, and their dog, Shep.

About Jessica Cassetty

Jessica Cassetty graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2007 with a B.S. in Business Management. After completing her undergraduate degree, she completed her Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses to gain a better understanding of the investment world. Prior to joining Joe’s team in 2008, Jessica worked with a group at Wachovia’s private bank that exclusively handled the banking and investment needs of Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Jessica’s role on the team is centered around their concierge client service model. Jessica serves as the clients’ primary point of contact, thereby building a strong rapport with clients enabling efficient and effective resolution of their day-to-day needs. As such, Jessica helps to maintain the strong relationships that Joe and Elizabeth have established, which is paramount to the team’s core business philosophy. With over 20 years in the financial services industry, and 12 years working with Joe, Jessica has the necessary experience to deal with business operations as well as the daily issues that arise for their clientele.

Outside of the office, Jessica resides in Naples where she thoroughly enjoys family time at home with her husband, Todd, and their daughter, Madison. The Cassettys enjoy cooking together, going to the beach, and finding time to exercise outdoors.
