About Jeffrey Angold
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Economics, Jeff began his career in wealth management in 2008 as a financial advisor with the regional registered investment advisory Renaissance Financial. In 2012, he joined Morgan Stanley looking to enhance his offering for clients by equipping them with the firm’s global resources, technology, and research. Jeff has received numerous industry recognitions over the years, including being named a Forbes’ Top Next Gen Wealth Advisor in 2021 and 2022.
With the team, Jeff helps clients protect and grow their wealth with a comprehensive wealth management approach. Having worked in the industry for well over a decade, he’s helped clients navigate many different markets, overcome many different obstacles, and ultimately, achieve many different objectives. From retirement income planning and estate planning strategies, to special lending and insurance needs –– he backs his own experience with the vast resources of Morgan Stanley to help his clients realize the future they envision. While his strategies aim for long-term success, Jeff also strives to be a day-to-day resource: a guide that his clients and their families can turn to whenever they need trusted insight.
Outside the office, Jeff lives in Kansas City with his wife Molly and their three children. Deeply committed to giving back, he is very active in charities throughout the Kansas City area, serving on the board of the Fore the Kids foundation as well as on the Investment Committee of Rockhurst High School. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, golf, and spending time with family.

About Patrick Roth
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, Patrick went on to earn a Master’s in Accounting from the University in 2010. He first entered the financial industry that same year as a Certified Public Accountant and Senior Auditor for KPMG International, one of the “Big Four” accounting organizations. After three years there, he decided he wanted to work with clients on a more intimate and comprehensive level. In 2013, he transitioned to wealth management as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, where he has remained ever since. Forbes’ named him a Top Next Gen Wealth Advisor in 2021, 2022 and 2024. In 2022, they ranked him #1 in Missouri and #83 in the country.
Patrick focuses on helping clients identify and solve the complex needs of high net worth and multigenerational wealth. Over the years, he has helped clients overcome volatility and diversify their portfolio with alternative investments; preserve their assets with tax-efficient strategies; and meet their complicated legacy goals and lending needs. That’s why he chose to partner with Morgan Stanley. It’s one of the most well-respected financial institutions in the world, and its vast resources –– from technology to intellectual capital –– allow him to be a truly comprehensive resource for clients. At the end of the day, however, Patrick translates this immense institution into a bespoke offering to help his clients achieve their specific objectives.
Outside the office, Patrick lives in Mission Hills, KS with his wife Lauren and their son and daughter. A former D1 golfer at the University of Kansas, he still enjoys hitting the links. He also enjoys travelling to catch a live concert, collecting wine, and attending his children’s school and extracurricular events.

About Justin McCandless
While earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Baker University, Justin began his career in finance with Mid-America Bank. Upon graduation in 2015, he immediately entered the wealth management industry with Morgan Stanley and has remained with the firm ever since. Committed to education, he undertook the rigorous coursework required to become a Certified Financial Planner® in 2018 –– an elite industry designation that equips him with the knowledge and skillset to help his clients across a wide array of needs and goals.
Justin places a special emphasis on financial planning and asset allocation. Especially when it comes to high net worth, he believes that long-term financial success requires a customized, detailed, and coordinated approach. That means using clients’ set of specific challenges, objectives, and needs as the foundation of their financial plans. It also means collaborating with clients’ professional network to ensure every piece of their financial puzzle fits together seamlessly. However, Justin’s role goes far beyond the planning piece and investment management. Along with being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, he also holds an internal designation of Lending Specialist which allows him to assist the team's clients with their cash management and lending needs. He works tirelessly help his clients in any way he can.
Outside the office, Justin lives in Olathe, KS with his wife Taylor, their young son and golden bernedoodle puppy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, golfing, traveling and experiencing new cultures. A former college football player, he now enjoys rooting on the Kansas Jayhawks, the Chiefs, and the Royals. An admirer of Vince Lombardi, he defines his own perseverance in the coach’s words, “Winners never quit, and quitters never win.”

About Jeff Lozier
A University of Kansas graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Jeff began his career with the asset management firms Lord, Abbett & Co., Federated Hermes, MFS Investment Management, and Build Asset Management. During his tenure in asset management, he worked closely with countless financial advisors, providing them with investment guidance and insight across domestic and global markets. As a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, he now brings that unique knowledge directly to clients, helping them protect and grow their wealth for decades and even generations to come.
Jeff’s approach merges his deep experience in asset management with a special focus on financial planning. For pre-retirees, retirees, and business owners, he helps craft tax-efficient, goal-oriented, and process-driven strategies for long-term success. With business owners in particular, he offers guidance with a keen awareness of the challenges they face, having worked for two years with an investment management start-up. For every client, he strives to be an accessible everyday resource. Whether that means walking them through the complexities of a specific type of investment, answering their questions about the state of the stock market, or helping them make a decision about a large purchase.
Outside the office, Jeff lives in Mission Hills, KS with his family. His wife Liz also works in the financial industry, and together they have a daughter and son. A proud father, he spends much of his free time staying active with his kids, from coaching their soccer team to advising on their front yard lemonade stand business. He also enjoys exploring new countries with his wife, golfing, and fishing. In his free time, he volunteers with the Child Protection Center.

About Kelley Smith
At the University of Denver, Kelley earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting. She has been with Morgan Stanley for her entire career in wealth management.
Kelley is the first point of contact for clients’ questions and needs. Having worked in the industry for many years, she offers a deep well of knowledge about the resources of the team and the firm more broadly; and she uses that knowledge to help clients find the appropriate insight and guidance they need in a timely manner. She views the team’s clients as lifelong partnerships, and she treats every client like family. Day in and day out, she goes above and beyond to help them find answers to their most pressing questions, and simplify their financial life in any way she can.
Outside the office, Kelley lives in Prairie Village, KS with her husband Cole and their son and daughter. Family time is her favorite kind of free time, and she enjoys getting outdoors whether for a round of tennis or watching a local sports team.
About Rachel Voss
After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, she went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from the University in 2019. Concurrently, she began her career in marketing and human resources positions before coming on board with Morgan Stanley in 2015.
Rachel provides comprehensive support for clients as they plan for their financial futures. When they come to her with a question or obstacle, she does everything in her power to help them find an appropriate solution. Whether it’s assisting with a cash management need, or helping a client navigate the online platform –– Rachel helps every client receive the proactive care and attention they expect from an elite wealth management team.
Outside the office, Rachel lives in Kansas City, MO with her husband Braxton and their son. In her free time, she enjoys going for hikes with their dog Apollo, and spending time with her family, which also includes two cats.
