Glen Mahnken (1963-2024)

Tab Image
In memory of our beloved friend, mentor, and Partner: Glen Mahnken started his career as a financial advisor in 1994 and was a passionate advocate for his clients. Glen would often say, “I click my heels to work every day,” and his energy and love for being a financial advisor radiated throughout The 58 Group. He set the bar high on how to be a great financial advisor, but most importantly, a great human. Glen epitomized the best of The 58 Group, and made an indelible mark on our group through his tireless support of colleagues and commitment to clients, along with his dedication to championing the next generation of financial advisors. Beyond Glen’s role as a senior Partner with The 58 Group, he was a warm and welcoming presence at group gatherings, and a generous teammate and mentor.

Outside of work, Glen was a special friend to many – fun and funny, curious, engaging and always up for a challenge. Glen was the eternal optimist. He was the only person we know that had hundreds of “best friends”. He loved to go boating with his friends and family, offshore fishing, a fine dining experience, or a trip to Fire Island. Among the many notable things about Glen, his love for our country stood out. He was proud to be an American and had so much gratitude for the life he had until the day he died.

Glen was a mentor to financial advisors, was esteemed by his professional peers, and served as a trusted financial advisor to his clients for decades. Glen will be missed by everyone in The 58 Group and by our clients. He is remembered with great fondness for his bright financial mind and mentorship. The legacy of his countless contributions and devoted service to our group and our clients will endure. We miss him dearly and continue to be inspired by his remarkable talent, vision, and leadership. Glen will never be able to be replaced, but the best way we can honor his legacy is continuing to advise our clients with the highest degree of integrity and work ethic, just like he did. Rest in peace, our dear friend, Glen Mahnken.
