Michael began his investment career in 1992 after earning a Bachelor’s in Finance from Arizona State University. As a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, his primary responsibilities include client relationships, investment strategies, liability management and coordinating with accountants and estate attorneys to help shape clients full financial lives. Michael also oversees the team’s strategic planning.

Michael has held the designation of a Financial Planning Specialist since 2007 and holds the 7,31,63 and 65 licenses.

Michael lives with his wife Charlotte, his son Oliver and their dog Piper. He enjoys most sports, especially skiing and surfing. He is also an active traveler and avid reader.

About Tom Bardwell

With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Tom Bardwell has established himself as a trusted advisor, catering to affluent individuals, families, and institutional clients since 1999. His journey began at Van Kampen Investments, where he acquired a deep understanding of portfolio management and asset allocation strategies.

From late 2005 until 2008, Tom assumed the position of Manager of the Central Illinois Complex for Morgan Stanley, further refining his leadership acumen. In 2008, he joined the Cornerstone Capital Group at Morgan Stanley, leveraging his expertise to optimize investment portfolios and implement effective planning strategies for both individuals and institutions.

Tom's commitment to community engagement was evident during his time in Central Illinois, where he actively participated in various organizations. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Peoria Riverfront Museum, contributed as a member of the Campaign Cabinet for the Heart of Illinois United Way Drive, and held a Board Member position for the Central Illinois Estate Planning Council.

In 2014, Tom, accompanied by his family, made the decision to relocate to Sarasota, Florida, embarking on a new chapter by establishing a Cornerstone Capital Group office in the area. Today, he continues to serve clients nationwide, offering his comprehensive financial expertise. Tom takes great pride in his involvement in the Sarasota community, actively participating as a member of Bayside Community Church and engaging in local outreach events that aim to make a positive impact

About Susan Wilson

Susan Wilson has devoted her life to helping people with their finances-her longevity as a wealth manager attests to the relationships and trust she has built in her dedication to taking care of clients. “It is very personal and meaningful to me to take care of my clients. Fundraising for SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center) and the Van Wezel Foundation have been important philanthropic endeavors for both of them. They also like socializing with friends at the Bird Key Yacht Club, where Charlie served as Commodore, and are avid golfers who enjoy playing locally and internationally.

About Susan Knight

Susan joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessors in 1984 as she was achieving her Associate Degree in Business Management. Born in Mesquite, Texas, Susan’s family moved to Long Island, NY when she was 5 years old. She ended up in Sarasota in 2018 to aid her aging parents.
Susan brings extensive knowledge and experience to the Cornerstone Capital Group. She is a Senior Registered Associate and has her Series 7, 63, 66, 9 and 10 licenses. Susan is passionate about people and works diligently in building long lasting client relationships and providing excellent client service. She provides administrative and operational support for the team’s private clients along with working closely with the Financial Advisors.
Susan enjoys the sunshine, time at the beach and outdoor activities like biking, kayaking, swimming, and walking trails. She loves to spend time with her grown kids, family, and friends. She is a member with New Day Christian Church and enjoys volunteering her time there.

About Adrienne Lambers

Adrienne began her career with Morgan Stanley in 2019 and joined the Cornerstone Capital Group in 2022. As a Senior Registered Client Service Associate, Adrienne is passionate about delivering great service. She enjoys solving problems for clients and making their lives a little simpler. She holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as her Life, Accident, Health, and Variable Annuity insurance licenses.

Adrienne graduated in 2018 from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she then began her career with Morgan Stanley. She moved to Sarasota, Florida to join the Cornerstone Capital Group and to be closer to her family in her hometown of Tampa. Adrienne is happy to be back in Florida and enjoys biking, running, and spending time at the beach.

About Amanda Lewis

Amanda Lewis is a Client Service Associate originally from Deleon Springs, Florida. She has an MBA from Southeastern University and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, where she majored in interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Before joining the firm, she worked as an elementary and middle school teacher and coached several sports teams. Amanda strives to create every client interaction an amazing experience where they feel they have received quality customer service.

About Justine Smale

Justine Smale is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Justine began her career in financial services in 1992, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, she spent 21 years at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America and held many positions including Wealth Management Banker, Premier Client Manager, and Branch Manager.

Justine is a graduate of Florida International University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Business Management, and
