How We Work with You

Steven Thorpe, financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, has been in the industry for over ten years. Steven began his career in 2007 at EDF Trading. He then went on to further his wealth and investment management skills at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and in 2017, joined the team at Morgan Stanley.

Steven’s practice revolves around his clientele of a diverse group of families, retirees, executives and business owners around the state of Texas. He has an all-inclusive and goals-based approach to wealth management that will help tailor an investment framework considering key aspects of a client’s life. Using clients’ goals as a benchmark, Steven continuously evaluates his strategy, and with a wealth of resources through Morgan Stanley, has the flexibility to adjust his plan accordingly as circumstances and needs change.

Steven takes pride in establishing a strong, personal connection with each client and enjoys the challenge of finding creative financial strategies, such as alternative investments, to help meet their objectives.

A lifelong Houstonian, Steven and his wife, Audrey, have three daughters and are supporters of The Children’s Fund and Houston Methodist Hospital Transplant Task Force. When he’s not advising clients, and helping them to achieve their financial goals, Steven can be found playing golf or enjoying time with his family. Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Texas.

Disclosure:
Alternative investments often are speculative and include a high degree of risk. Investors could lose all or a substantial amount of their investment. Alternative investments are appropriate only for eligible, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time. They may be highly illiquid and can engage in leverage and other speculative practices that may increase the volatility and risk of loss. Alternative Investments typically have higher fees than traditional investments. Investors should carefully review and consider potential risks before investing.
