Steve Taylor is an Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Management Director, Alternative Investments Director and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in Baton Rouge, LA. For over 25 years, he has helped a diverse group of clients overcome their most complex financial challenges and achieve their most sought-after financial goals with customized and comprehensive financial plans.
Receiving both his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and his Master of Science degree in Finance-Investments from Louisiana State University – Steve went on to enter the financial industry in 1993 with Morgan Stanley, and he has remained with the firm ever since. In addition to a long tenure as a financial advisor, he has also previously served as the Branch Manager for multiple offices in the Baton Rouge area. In that role, he oversaw as many as 50 advisors at a time over the course of ten years, helping them to address their clients’ most pressing challenges.
Always looking to better his offering to his own clients, Steve has undertaken a suite of intensive certification programs, including: Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Investment Management Analyst® (The Wharton School of Business), Chartered Market Technician®, and Senior Portfolio Management Director.
