Seth is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with over 30 years of industry experience.   He believes his role is to provide investment management consistent with the life goals and financial needs of his clients.  He applies these same skills to the non-profit, corporate, and trustee clients to help them fulfill their responsibilities as fiduciaries.

Experience

Recognizing the need for comprehensive wealth management, Seth completed the CFP Professional Education Program with the College for Financial Planning in December, 1995 and became a Certified Financial Planner™ in April, 1996.

Continuing his pursuit of education, he completed the Certified Portfolio Manager program in conjunction with Columbia University and the Portfolio Management Institute in June, 2009, graduating in the first class of this designation.

Seth began his investment career with Prudential-Bache Securities in 1989.  While there he became a Quantum Portfolio Manager, and later became part of an exclusive group of managers within the Prudential Securities Portfolio Management program. 

Seth and his business partner John Meybin (now retired) joined Smith Barney in 1999. He became a Portfolio Manager with the Portfolio Management Group upon joining the firm, and currently serves as Portfolio Management Director.

Coordination with client’s CPA and attorney is a critical part of the relationship, and Seth frequently serves as the quarterback of these relationships, serving as liaison and interpreter as needed between these different worlds for his clients.
