About me
My 20-year tenure in the technology industry informs how I work with business owners and corporate executives and analyze investments. Since joining Morgan Stanley in 1996, I have developed and leveraged an expansive network of investment banking and wealth management resources to help clients formulate exit strategies for their businesses and prudently manage the assets that result from those transactions.
Determining and monetizing a company’s value is a complex process that involves many moving parts. Deep project management experience enables me to effectively connect and manage the large groups needed to successfully complete the sale of a business on the front end and formulate a financial plan for the proceeds on the back end.
My work has only begun when I start managing your assets. I appreciate the risk taking that makes my clients successful and support that success by following a disciplined wealth management approach that is designed to properly manage risk and produce results.

Working With You
I continue to serve on corporate boards and understand the corporate mindset. Thus, I strive to respond to every query in the way that executives expect: with a robust and well thought solution. I provide the highlights and am trusted to handle the details. My clients are constantly busy, juggling their work and personal lives. I help them integrate both by serving as steward of their financial world.
For business transactions, I serve as the quarterback, assembling all the players across both sides of the deal, including the bankers, auditors, legal teams, private equity teams and managements of the target and acquiring companies.
For wealth management, I serve as the general manager and coach, choosing investment options from the wide range of solutions available through Morgan Stanley, some for offense and growth, others for defense and capital preservation.
The competitive instincts of financially successful clients gravitate them toward higher levels of risk, but I provide a reality check and help them understand that in profitably selling their business, they have hit the lottery. So, we build an investment portfolio prudently balanced between growth, income and preservation strategies and augmented by dedicated income protection and liability planning. We then regularly review progress against the plan, covering the highlights and lowlights.
