My Story and Services

Sarai Anderson is a Private Wealth Advisor on the 408 Group in the Santa Barbara office of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Sarai serves the sophisticated wealth management needs of entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and their families as well as endowments and foundations. She brings an experienced approach to coordinating an abundance of resources that help clients fulfill their purpose and leave a legacy for the next generation.

Sarai works closely with clients to gain clarity on their intentions and goals. She navigates the full breadth of resources at Morgan Stanley to align specialists in support of each client's specific situation. Sarai is thoughtful as she facilitates sound decision making and develops tailored and holistic plans. She is a team player to her core and believes strongly in the value of integrated coverage.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Sarai worked at J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a Financial Advisor. Previously, she worked for Edward Jones as well as a local independent registered investment advisory firm, delivering comprehensive financial plans and evaluating investment performance. Sarai's career has been focused entirely in the Santa Barbara area. She is fully immersed in the community and is currently a Board Member for the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, along with previously being involved with NAWBO, Santa Barbara Young Professionals, Santa Barbara Athletic Roundtable, and Santa Barbara Volleyball Club.

Sarai attended Southwestern University, where she earned a B.A. in Business and was recruited to play volleyball. While there, her team won the SCAC Conference Championships and she also received several Student Athlete Awards.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Venice, Italy and Prescott, Arizona, Sarai chose Santa Barbara with her husband as their new hometown over a decade ago. Being active is large part of her and her family’s life as her husband, Matt, founded a sports performance gym in the area in addition to recently opening a new health facility centered around longevity training. Sarai and her husband have two children, their daughter Jaiden, and their son, Leo.
