Working With You
I listen to you and your story. I listen to your story about protecting your family, sending your children to college, and about your ideal retirement and traveling. I listen to your story about your charitable giving and who you what your wealth and assets to go to.
Together, we develop a financial plan. Your financial plan might include education funding, selling your business, anticipating long term care needs, a comfortable retirement, relocation, and charitable giving.
We work together to select the investments that best fits you - including impact investments, environmental social and governance (ESG), domestic and foreign, alternatives, tax free and corporate bonds, and even annuities.
I will work with your tax advisor and attorney to come up with the best solutions for your situation.
We then implement the plan and investment strategies.
I monitor the investments and will recommend tactical and strategic adjustments as the economic environment changes. We meet regularly to talk about and update the plan; for life events, market and economic changes, and risk tolerance changes.
Remember, I work for you.

Community Involvement
I believe in giving back to our local communities and beyond through Rotary International. I am a past president of the Rotary Club of San Francisco Chinatown (2009-201) and past District Governor of Rotary District 5150 (2017-2018). Our Rotary Club educates children in the San Francisco Chinatown area with tutoring and dictionary programs, providing holiday meals and support many youth services projects with the Chinatown Y and Cameron House.
Globally I support The Rotary Foundation in its efforts to eradicate Polio from the face of the earth. Rotary started the fight in 1985 and is working with the World Health Organization, CDC, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and many other governments and civic organizations. From a disease effecting over 350,000 cases per year in the 50's and 60's to only 2 countries remaining worldwide. Our Rotary club traveled to Guatemala to help build a "bottle school" to support education and a clean water system to a hospital, donated computers and books to Lebanon, and changing lives by providing clean water around the world.
I also support the Morgan Stanley Foundation where our company awards small grants to local non profits and is best known for its leadership in the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital at New York Presbyterian.

1Morgan Stanley offers a wide array of brokerage and advisory services to its clients, each of which may create a different type of relationship with different obligations to you. Please consult with your Financial Advisor to understand these differences or review our Understanding Your Brokerage and Investment Advisory Relationships brochure available at www.morganstanley.com/wealth-relationshipwithms/pdfs/understandingyourrelationship.pdf.

2Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is the trade name of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, a registered broker-dealer in the United States.
3When Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, its affiliates and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors (collectively, “Morgan Stanley”) provide “investment advice” regarding a retirement or welfare benefit plan account, an individual retirement account or a Coverdell education savings account (“Retirement Account”), Morgan Stanley is a “fiduciary” as those terms are defined under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (“ERISA”), and/or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”), as applicable. When Morgan Stanley provides investment education, takes orders on an unsolicited basis or otherwise does not provide “investment advice”, Morgan Stanley will not be considered a “fiduciary” under ERISA and/or the Code. For more information regarding Morgan Stanley’s role with respect to a Retirement Account, please visit www.morganstanley.com/disclosures/dol. Tax laws are complex and subject to change. Morgan Stanley does not provide tax or legal advice. Individuals are encouraged to consult their tax and legal advisors (a) before establishing a Retirement Account, and (b) regarding any potential tax, ERISA and related consequences of any investments or other transactions made with respect to a Retirement Account. Individuals should consult their tax advisor for matters involving taxation and tax planning and their attorney for matters involving trust and estate planning, charitable giving, philanthropic planning and other legal matters.
4The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.

6Municipal bonds may not be appropriate for all investors. Income generated from an investment in a municipal bond is generally exempt from federal income taxes. Some income may be subject to state and local taxes and to the federal alternative minimum tax. Capital gains, if any, are subject to tax.
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC (“Morgan Stanley”) and its Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors do not provide any tax/legal advice. Consult your own tax/legal advisor before making any tax or legal-related investment decisions.
