officers/directors, legacy families and private business owners, client mandates typically involve a high degree of complexity associated with family dynamics, advanced planning and/or transactional liquidity needs. Andrew and his
team demonstrate deep expertise in complex tax planning strategies, legacy, philanthropic and liquidity planning to assist families and founders/stakeholders as they work through middle market
transactions where clients are considering an exit, effectively moving from “P&L” to portfolio. Andrew and his team routinely stand-up family governance structures to help manage family dynamics through transactions involving large pools of intergenerational liquidity and multiple family branches and generations. Andrew and his team create, build, and maintain tailored strategies for clients to help preserve and optimize the human capital of families, not just financial capital.
Andrew’s connectivity with financial and planning professionals spans
investment banking, family office, estate tax, trust, and M&A. These relationships play a significant role in being able to effectively lead clients’ professional advisory teams. Andrew’s skills facilitate best-in-class, client outcomes sourced from deeply talented professionals. In addition to being well versed in traditional middle market transactional strategies, he has deep expertise in ESOP [Employee Stock Ownership Plan] transactions. > $20 million. Backed by Morgan Stanley management, The Alignment ESOP Group prosecutes transactions involving section 1042 QRP [qualified replacement property] underwriting requirements as well as leveraged ESOP structures, where seller notes offer stakeholders enhanced utility in estate planning.
