All of Mr. O’Daniel’s 29 years of industry experience has been accumulated at Morgan Stanley. In addition to his licenses [Series 6, 7, 33, 63 & 65], Andrew also maintains his TX-resident insurance license #1413134, and his NMLS #127731. He achieved his
Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through the Investments & Wealth Institute, in association with The Wharton School of Business. Additionally, Andrew earned his Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®)
designation through the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers, in association with Columbia School of Engineering. At Morgan Stanley, he has amassed the titles of Family Wealth Director, Alternative Investments Director, and Senior Investment Management Consultant.

In his leadership role with the O’Daniel Group, Andrew is involved in all facets of the business with a focus on business development, strategy, execution, and client service. While clients come from all walks of life including corporate
officers/directors, legacy families and private business owners, client mandates typically involve a high degree of complexity associated with family dynamics, advanced planning and/or transactional liquidity needs. Andrew and his
team demonstrate deep expertise in complex tax planning strategies, legacy, philanthropic and liquidity planning to assist families and founders/stakeholders as they work through middle market
transactions where clients are considering an exit, effectively moving from “P&L” to portfolio. Andrew and his team routinely stand-up family governance structures to help manage family dynamics through transactions involving large pools of intergenerational liquidity and multiple family branches and generations. Andrew and his team create, build, and maintain tailored strategies for clients to help preserve and optimize the human capital of families, not just financial capital.

Andrew’s connectivity with financial and planning professionals spans
investment banking, family office, estate tax, trust, and M&A. These relationships play a significant role in being able to effectively lead clients’ professional advisory teams. Andrew’s skills facilitate best-in-class, client outcomes sourced from deeply talented professionals. In addition to being well versed in traditional middle market transactional strategies, he has deep expertise in ESOP [Employee Stock Ownership Plan] transactions. In 2023, Andrew and his partners at Morgan Stanley officially launched the Alignment ESOP Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management , a specialty practice focused on business and family succession, inter-generational legacy wealth and philanthropy for business owners with businesses with EBITDA
> $20 million. Backed by Morgan Stanley management, The Alignment ESOP Group prosecutes transactions involving section 1042 QRP [qualified replacement property] underwriting requirements as well as leveraged ESOP structures, where seller notes offer stakeholders enhanced utility in estate planning.

Andrew coordinates firm resources and focuses his team to delivery world-class strategies in planning, asset management, insurance, risk management, banking/lending and client service in a way that embodies the spirit of
Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management: “Doing first class business in a first-class way”.

While born and raised in Nebraska, Andrew manages a distributed team in Texas, Nebraska & Tennessee and looks forward to where the growth takes him and his team. Andrew is married and has three adult children, at various stages of establishing their own lives, and two warm and fuzzy French Bulldogs. Andrew and his wife, Angie, spend their time appreciating live entertainment, food, wine and traveling. Beaches and mountains along with venues associated with wine rank amongst their top destinations. In their spare time, they volunteer with the SNAFU Rescue [Short Nosed and Friends United], focused on rehabilitating and rehoming beautiful and loving short nosed breeds. Their service includes managing the board of directors, fostering, managing transportation, intake, digital, fundraising and publicity. During an average week, Angie & Andrew spend 20+ hours giving a voice to those creatures that can’t speak for themselves.
