Our Clients

We serve a select clientele of uniquely successful individuals and families who appreciate the value of specialized professional advice in navigating unfamiliar—always complex—financial situations. By intentionally limiting our practice, we are able to make each of our clients the center of our attention. Having achieved uncommon success, they unknowingly face dangers and opportunities that are very different than those of the average investor, which require true financial wisdom from uniquely experienced advisors.

Our clients recognize that a life transition—retiring, transitioning jobs, changing marital status or family circumstance, receiving an inheritance, selling a business—adds complexity to their wealth.  They seek our guidance in effectively coping with and successfully navigating this change.

We believe trust must be earned. Over the years, we have built long-term relationships and enjoyed a 99 percent client retention rate. An overwhelming majority of our new clients come to us as referrals from existing clients. Many are corporate executives, women and those who are approaching, or in, retirement. Our comprehensive approach to wealth management and commitment to white-glove service has resulted in enduring client relationships that we strive to maintain for generations.

    Working With You

    1.      Discover.
This first, and most important, step begins with a conversation. We invest time in learning about you—who you are, where you came from and what you are hoping to accomplish with your wealth. We also take this opportunity to explain who we are, describe our team and share a little about our approach to investment planning. The goal of this initial meeting is for each of us to determine if the relationship is a mutual fit.

If we all agree it makes sense to work together, we move forward with an in-depth discussion of your financial life. This helps us understand all the pieces of your financial picture, and becomes the framework for the advice we provide.

    2.      Design.
Based on what we’ve learned, we design your customized, comprehensive wealth management plan—a montage that includes not only a personalized investment strategy, but also strategies for cash management, risk management, tax and estate planning, and wealth transfer. We discuss our recommendations with you and answer any questions you may have.

    3.     Deploy.
Once we agree on a plan, we bring together the resources necessary to execute it. Over time, we monitor your progress toward your goals and keep an eye out for financial blind-spots. Changes in your life circumstances, priorities or market conditions may require us to rethink your strategy. We continually revisit your plan and recommend adjustments when needed.

      Extended Team 1/18

There are three other types of members who bring extensive value to the team and are incorporated into each client’s experience on an as-needed basis. Many also participate in the educational symposiums the team holds.
      • Fellow Morgan Stanley employees—experts in lending, estate planning, insurance and retirement plans
      • Money Managers—thought leaders who provide more in-depth knowledge of financially related topics including women and wealth, Medicare, Social Security, etc.
      • Trusted Advisors—a rolodex of some of the finest local professionals including specialists in taxation, law, banking, real estate, estate planning, insurance, etc.

Meet Montage Group of Silicon Valley

        About Me

Growing up in Silicon Valley afforded Greg the opportunity to be surrounded by wealth and to experience firsthand the multi-dimensional aspects of growing, preserving and distributing it in a tax-advantageous manner.

Greg’s first job was pulling weeds in 3rd grade at the local shopping center. Soon after, he was refereeing various sports, working at a local campground and learning all facets of the food service industry. These experiences not only cultivated both a strong work ethic and service mentality, but also enabled Greg to save a few nickels, which steered him toward a passion for investing.

After earning dual degrees in economics and business at UCLA, Greg did not merely seek a job, but pursued a calling as a financial advisor and has been helping families achieve their goals ever since.

As the founder of Montage Group, Greg enjoys harnessing the talents of the team and the resources of one of the best firms in the business to make the greatest impact on clients’ lives. At Morgan Stanley, he holds the title of Senior Vice President and has earned designations of both Family Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Management Director after extensive advanced training.

Greg lives in Los Altos, California, with his wife, Tricia; their daughters, Lindsay and Lauren; and their dog, Logan. As a family, they enjoy being outdoors—especially on the soccer field. They are avid San Jose Sharks fans and can be seen attending games throughout the season. Greg volunteers time at his girls’ schools coaching youth athletics, as well as at Healthy Young Attitude, an organization devoted to young cancer survivors. Greg is a member of the Los Altos Country Club, the Positive Coaching Alliance and the UCLA Alumni Association. He also does volunteer work teaching elementary school students about finances via a program called The Stock Market Game.

        About Me

Like Greg, Danielle was lucky enough to grow up in Silicon Valley. Along with 100% private school education comes exposure to the multi-faceted disparities between struggle and prosperity. Because funds were always limited in her household, Danielle grew to appreciate and aspire to the blessings and opportunities wealth can bring.

Throughout her childhood and early adulthood, Danielle competed in world-class artistic roller skating competitions across the country. After Archbishop Mitty High School, Danielle graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University almost exclusively on grants, scholarships and student loans, focusing on business and economics. In a quest to better understand money in a real-world sense, Danielle began her lifelong calling to be a financial advisor at Enterprise Trust and Investment Company, followed by Union Bank of California.

The many designations Danielle holds reflect her drive to constantly better the lives of clients and their families. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, she upholds a fiduciary standard of excellence and ethics. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, Danielle is trained to educate and provide financial advice to clients who are going through divorce. Danielle also holds Certified Trust & Financial Advisor and Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ADPA) designations. The (ADPA) designation focuses on the unique needs of couples who are considered unmarried under state law, federal law, or both.

Danielle and her husband, Erick, love to take their kids Isabella, Olivia, Yonas, Andrew, and their Yorkie Remy, to the park. In the community, Danielle is a member of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association. Erick, her high school sweetheart, is a Deputy United States Marshal and serves as a Battalion Commander in the U.S. Army Reserves. When she is not working or with her family, Danielle enjoys spoiling women with jewelry through her home based business.
