About Thomas S Sharp

Tom joined Morgan Stanley's predecessor firm, Shearson American Express, in 1983. He has been an active investor since 1978, having graduated from Purdue University that year. His primary role in the Monroe Street Group at Morgan Stanley is creating and managing equity solutions for their client's needs, using a disciplined approach to investing in growth companies.

Tom grew up in Kettering, OH, received his BS in Industrial Management from Purdue, worked in public and private accounting and auditing as a Certified Public Accountant before entering the financial services business. Tom and his wife Nancy, are empty-nesters and live in Pinehurst, NC. Tom enjoys golf, singing in his church choir, and actively serves on the board of Midwest Young Artists.
