About Henry Keating

Henry P Keating

Senior Vice President
Financial Advisor
Alternative Investment Director

Henry P. Keating is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Alternative Investment Director. He has thirty years of experience in finance, and has been with Morgan Stanley since 2011.

Henry began his financial services career in 1990 at CITI within the Bank Training Program. During these initial years Henry perfected his ability of developing a path forward for his clients that is both goals oriented and nimble enough to be adaptable as events unfold. By analyzing the entire picture of what an individual client needs, Henry has come to understand that every detail matters. With the belief that every client has a unique situation, he strives to be an active listener in order to provide efficient solutions to their problems.

For Henry, an emphasis on client service is a critical factor for success. In his early years, Henry worked as an EMT where he realized that helping people was what he had a passion for. This line of work gave him invaluable lessons in understanding peoples’ vulnerabilities and that triage and managing the circumstances was a skill he not only enjoyed, but excelled at. Now, as a financial advisor, safeguarding his clients’ financial well being is why Henry loves what he does. Henry works to build lasting client relationships based on honesty, trust, and risk-adjusted returns.

Outside of the office, Henry is equally committed to his community as he is his clients. He has served on a variety of boards and committees including veteran, drug addiction, and charitable food programs. For Henry, being able to engage and assist his fellow community members is the most rewarding aspect of membership. He is a firm believer in the idea that the most rewarding thing a person can do is the giving of their time toward a common goal. Henry is married to his wife of 25 years, Karen, and has three children. In his spare time Henry enjoys golfing, skiing, and cooking with his family on a regular basis.

Henry received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wittenberg University. He holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses issued by FINRA.
