Welcome

As a First Vice President, Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Executive Financial Services Director, I believe thoughtful, comprehensive planning is essential to helping individuals and families protect what they’ve built and make confident decisions about their financial future. My work is grounded in understanding each client’s priorities and creating strategies designed to support both today’s needs and long-term legacy.

I joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 and am proud to be part of The Fort Point Group, a team recognized by Forbes as one of the Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams for 2026. Our collaborative, client-first approach reflects a shared commitment to delivering personalized guidance and building lasting relationships across generations.

In May 2018, I received the Academic Excellence Award for outstanding contributions to the personal financial planning program at UC Berkeley Extension, recognizing both my academic work in the classroom and my engagement within the San Francisco Bay Area Latino community.

Originally from Ecuador, I am fluent in Spanish and work with clients in the language that feels most comfortable to them. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from San José State University, where I developed a strong appreciation for discipline, responsibility, and the role financial planning can play in creating opportunity.

From 2018 to 2020, I served as Executive Vice President of the San Francisco chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA), helping foster business relationships and support the next generation of Latino professionals as they begin their careers.

I live in Santa Rosa, California, with my wife Julia, our son Leo, and our daughter Penelope. Outside the office, we enjoy camping, biking, and spending time with family and friends.

Working With You

At Morgan Stanley, we believe that identifying financial solutions begins with a solid understanding of each client's situation, goals, objectives and risk tolerance. We follow a disciplined process that allows us to work with you to craft a solution that helps meet your individual financial needs:
My Process
  • Step 1: Introductory Meeting: Our relationship begins with an initial discussion aimed towards getting to know you, your lifestyle, and your future goals.
  • Step 2: Discovery Meeting: During the discovery meeting, we will work together to establish your financial goals by reviewing your current financial situation and developing an appropriate risk tolerance that can help you achieve the financial outcome you envision for yourself.
  • Step 3: Financial Plan Presentation: Financial plan presentations map our essential factors that play into your financial success such as your employee and employer contributions, liquidity events, and insurance coverage. Examining relevant financial information provides a holistic asset allocation analysis for your accounts, helping ensure a comprehensive financial plan.
  • Step 4: Action Items / Next Steps: After the financial plan presentation, I will follow up with you regarding my analysis and recommendations, which may include adjustments to your financial plan, investment allocation, company benefits and insurance coverage.
  • Step 5: Implementation Meeting: The implementation meeting focuses on creating prospective strategies custom designed for your specific needs. Recommended changes could include logistics, tax impact, asset allocation adjustments, and saving/benefit modifications.
  • Step 6: Monitoring & Performance: Finally, I will be constantly monitoring your assets and analyzing your performance tracking data, seeking to ensure your financial expectations are being met and adjusted accordingly. I will keep a high degree of communication with you to make sure your concerns and requests are always addressed.
My Clients Include
  • Business Owners (including family businesses)

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Financial Advisors can conduct their business in several ways: individually, as a member of a team of Financial Advisors, or through the formation of a Strategic Partnership with another Financial Advisor or team of Financial Advisors. A Strategic Partnership is an arrangement between a Financial Advisor or a team of Financial Advisors with another Financial Advisor or team of Financial Advisors that has a unique focus or knowledge regarding a specific business concentration, product area, and/or client type. If your account is with an individual Financial Advisor, that Financial Advisor services all facets of your account. If your account is with a Financial Advisor who is a member of a team, any Financial Advisor on the team can service your account. If your Financial Advisor is part of a Strategic Partnership, his or her role in that Strategic Partnership may be limited to a specific business and/or product area and may not cover all facets of your account. The use of the terms “Partner” or “Strategic Partner” and/or “Partnership” or “Strategic Partnership” are used as terms of art and not used to imply or connote any legal relationship.

Important information about your relationship with your Financial Advisor and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC when using a Financial Planning tool. 8Investing in the market entails the risk of market volatility. The value of all types of investments may increase or decrease over varying time periods. The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable or impact investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability and impact criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
