Jodi Fleisher has built her wealth management career at Morgan Stanley, joining the firm in 2015 and spending more than a decade working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational families on highly customized wealth management strategies. Her clients include corporate executives, entrepreneurs and business owners, professional athletes and NIL talent, ultra-high-net-worth women, and legacy families, each facing complex planning and investment needs. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, she takes an integrated approach to each relationship, advising on investment strategies, estate planning strategies, charitable planning strategies, liquidity needs, executive compensation, and other wealth planning considerations. Before transitioning to wealth management, Jodi worked in sports marketing and management, an early exposure to the business of professional sports that helped shape her focus on helping individuals and families preserve and seek to grow what they have built. That sense of purpose remains central to her practice today: Jodi finds great personal satisfaction in working with clients to help make a meaningful difference in their lives, helping preserve and grow their wealth while serving as an advisor across many wealth-related decisions, not merely the investment side of it.
The more a person builds, the more pieces there are to coordinate: an accountant, an estate attorney, insurance coverage, investments, and broader tax planning strategies. Each piece may be appropriate on its own; the challenge is that they may not always be viewed through the same blueprint. Jodi works with clients to help develop that blueprint, bringing together the appropriate professionals and resources, and helping ensure each piece is considered within the context of the same plan. The goal is to help clients move toward a coordinated strategy rather than several disconnected ones.
That philosophy carries directly into how Jodi approaches wealth management. Her work is comprehensive, reaching beyond traditional investments to include planning around asset preservation, legacy goals, liquidity needs, and the people and priorities that matter most. Layered onto that foundation is access to the resources of Morgan Stanley and, where appropriate, the insight of specialists who can help evaluate more complex financial considerations. As a Financial Advisor, Jodi works with clients and their outside tax and legal advisors to help coordinate planning strategies across a client's broader financial picture. She may also incorporate insurance planning strategies where appropriate, helping clients consider how those strategies may support family, legacy, and long-term planning objectives.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Jodi relocated to Denver, Colorado, in 2021; the move was driven largely by her passion for snow skiing, which remains the pursuit closest to her heart and takes her well beyond the Colorado mountains to slopes across the country and abroad. Her Georgia roots have stayed just as strong: she remains a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, especially once football season arrives, and she stays engaged with her alma mater as an active alumna, mentoring students through the Terry College of Business mentorship program. An avid outdoors enthusiast beyond skiing, she also finds time for cycling and hiking, and she follows professional sports with the same enthusiasm. At home, she shares her life with Ullr, her Alaskan Malamute and constant companion, named for the Norse god of skiing. Though Jodi Fleisher, Financial Advisor, works with clients throughout the United States—from the Southeast to the West and many places in between—she strives to serve as a consistent point of coordination behind each client's wealth strategy.
Working with Jodi Fleisher begins with a conversation, not a form; she spends real time with each new client mapping out where their money is coming from and what they are building toward, so the strategy that follows is grounded in their actual life and grows more detailed as complexity requires. That strategy reaches well beyond investing alone, covering tax-efficient strategies, estate and legacy planning, philanthropy, and other relevant aspects of a client's wealth picture that deserves the same level of attention.
From there, key elements are coordinated, starting with a portfolio built around a client's specific goals; investment strategy is paired closely with tax-sensitive planning from the outset, since decisions in one area rarely stand apart from consequences in the other. For business owners and entrepreneurs, that often means coordinating investment decisions around a concentrated position in a single company, planning years ahead for the day that ownership converts into liquidity; as a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant, Jodi also works with owners on the retirement plans they sponsor for their own employees, including design considerations and ongoing plan governance support. For professional athletes, the planning process may focus on building a strategy around a career with a shorter and more defined earning window, with an emphasis on helping support long-term wealth and financial goals beyond their playing years. For younger athletes beginning to earn NIL income, the work may start even earlier, with education and planning around how to organize, manage and help preserve income that may arrive before they have significant experience managing wealth on their own.
For ultra high net worth women, it means building a plan centered on their own goals and priorities, whether the wealth was earned, inherited, or acquired through marriage or a business. For families managing wealth across multiple generations, it often means structuring investments with different time horizons, risk tolerances and objectives in mind, from members just beginning to build wealth to those managing wealth already accumulated, all as part of one overall strategy. For corporate executives, it means helping navigate compensation that rarely arrives as a simple paycheck, including restricted stock, options, deferred compensation, company trading windows and, where appropriate, 10b5-1 trading plans.
As wealth grows, so does the importance of helping align wealth transfer planning with a client's intentions. Jodi works alongside a client's attorneys, and tax advisors to help coordinate estate and trust planning considerations and develop wealth transfer strategies designed to support multigenerational goals. For families managing generational wealth, that coordination can be an important part of the planning process, helping ensure that key advisors understand the family's broader financial picture. Charitable giving receives the same intentional treatment; when philanthropy is part of a client's goals, Jodi helps evaluate strategies aligned with the causes that matter most to a family, structured to support the client's broader charitable and financial objectives.
For business owners and entrepreneurs, one of the important moments in a financial life is the eventual sale or transition of the business itself; Jodi works alongside clients well before that moment arrives, helping evaluate a succession or exit plan that reflects years of work and helps prepare the client to act on a timeline aligned with their goals, where possible.
Because wealth does not manage itself, Jodi stays closely involved once a plan is built; she reviews portfolios as markets move and stays in regular contact with a client's tax, legal, and insurance advisors, helping to keep the broader financial picture aligned, not just the investments. Structured check-ins throughout the year help assess whether the plan continues to fit as life changes, whether that means a new contract, a business sale, or a growing family.
That same discipline extends to the investments themselves; strategies considered for a client's portfolio are evaluated through a due diligence process before implementation, weighting performance history and risk characteristics alongside the people and organizations responsible for managing the assets.
This is what it looks like when clients work alongside Jodi: a plan built around them from the start, guidance that spans investment decisions to wealth transfer considerations, and coordination among Jodi and outside advisors who understand the broader financial picture. For business owners building toward a potential exit, athletes managing a short career on a long financial timeline, executives navigating complex compensation, ultra-high-net-worth women building a plan around their own goals, and families thinking several generations ahead, this kind of attention is designed to help build a wealth strategy aligned with major life, career, business and family transistions. For those seeking this kind of collaboration, Jodi welcomes the conversation.
Broad platform access paired with rigorous manager selection, more than either alone, is what makes access to alternative investments and private markets meaningful rather than theoretical. Jodi Fleisher, an Alternative Investments Director at Morgan Stanley, works within this platform daily and brings that focus to the strategies she builds for her clients. Used well, alternatives serve as a structural part of a portfolio built to grow and protect wealth across market cycles and, ideally, across generations.
Executives who work with Jodi get more than help exercising options or filing paperwork on time; they get someone who treats their compensation as one piece of a much larger structure, built with the same care and coordination as everything else in their financial life, so that even the most complicated compensation package starts to feel less like a puzzle and more like part of a plan.
What sets Morgan Stanley apart is not any single capability; it is the way these resources work in concert, coordinated by Jodi, who holds the full picture of a family's wealth and, just as often, the family enterprise behind it. That coordination spans institutional investment management and values-aligned portfolios; family governance and capital markets access; and flexible lending, each resource serving the same purpose: building, protecting, and passing on both a family's wealth and the business that may still be growing it. What you have seen here is only a glimpse of what an integrated relationship with Morgan Stanley can offer; a conversation is where the fuller blueprint comes into view.
