Carolyn Weiss

My clients are the foundation of my practice. I am committed to making a meaningful difference in their lives by guiding them in an effort to make well-informed financial decisions, helping them to attain their goals, and striving to transcend their expectations. My dedication to this commitment encompasses providing a high level of client service, both proactively and responsively. I anticipate changes and challenges in my client’s lives which can enable them to be prepared to meet those circumstances as they arise. I endeavor to earn my clients' trust, thereby building long-lasting relationships with them and their families.

As a Certified Financial Planner, I listen carefully, ask probing questions, educate at every opportunity, and methodically implement strategies to help address problems in a highly tailored and personal manner. The dedicated role I serve for my clients is to answer the questions that worry them most. Their confidence in me to create a personalized analysis with solutions for their deepest concerns, both now and in the future, is rooted in my extensive experience and my personal and frequent communication with them. These are things that no amount of spreadsheets and leather-bound “financial plans” can accomplish by themselves.

I believe that without a goal, there can be no plan; without a plan, there is no chance of success.

Since joining Morgan Stanley in 1995, I have concentrated on developing the capability to relate to, deal with and understand the total scope of a financial situation.

In addition to directing my work experience skills toward developing, implementing and managing financial strategies, my focus is on Retirement Income Planning, Estate Planning Strategies, Medicaid Planning as well as Special Needs Planning.

I obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ accreditation in 2002 and hold a Series 7 License, an Annuity/Insurance License, an Accident and Health License, and a Commodities License.

Thanks to the trust and commitment that my clients have placed in me, as well as the support from my Client Service Associate and Morgan Stanley, I have been named to the "Forbes Top Women Best-In-State" ranking for 2022, 2023, and 2024, "Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors" of 2021 and "Working Mother and SHOOK Research's Top Wealth Advisor Moms" for 2021. When markets turn volatile, many investment professionals urge their clients to stay the course and keep their emotions in check. "What goes down," they reason, "will eventually go up." The key word, however, is eventually. As a retiree, do you have the time to wait for a market bounce back when you are relying on your portfolio to preserve assets and generate income for day-to-day expenses?
