My Story and Services

Carol has extensive experience  living and working internationally. She was born and raised in Jordan, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Honors from the University of Jordan. Soon after getting married, she started her career in the finance industry in Qatar, where she joined HSBC Bank in 1998. She later moved with her family and worked with HSBC Abu Dhabi in 2007, and HSBC Bahrain in 2009. 

Throughout her 12-year tenure with HSBC, she held various roles including managing the HSBC Global Premier Centers which catered to serving high-net-worth clients in various countries, in 2008, Carol was one of 33 individuals named Global Employee Crown of Local Heroes by the HSBC Group CEO, a global HSBC recognition program.

Inspired by this international experience and moving with her family to a permanent assignment in Houston, Carol has joined  the CFA Houston Society, completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program, and was awarded the Global designation in 2016. Carol joined Morgan Stanley in 2017. Carol is actively focused on developing strategic relationships that add breadth and depth to services she provides. She is passionate about developing customized financial plans that includes goals-specific analysis that help prepare families and individuals for a successful financial future. In 2021, Carol obtained the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification, which is an advanced professional certification for advisors who seek the latest, most advanced knowledge and techniques to address high-net-worth clients’ sophisticated financial needs. Since 2022, Carol has been included as a member of the Pacesetter’s Club, a global Morgan Stanley recognition program. In 2023, Carol has been included as member of the Alternative Investments Director Designation Program. Carol was granted the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant credential by National Association of Plan Advisors.

Carol is married to Ashraf with whom she has two boys. Ziad graduated from Texas A&M University with a mechanical engineering degree and is working full time, and Jad is in his first year at UT Long School of Medicine at San Antonio. Carol attends St. George Orthodox Church and is an active member of the Ladies Alter Society and devotes time to different charitable projects in her community.  

Outside of the office, Carol enjoys social gatherings and planning her family vacations internationally. She also enjoys cooking middle eastern cuisines, dance and fitness, and learning new languages. She is fluent in Arabic and limited in Spanish and French.

Frank Vatuna is an Associate Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Texas.

Frank began his career in financial services in 1988 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 as an Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Wealth Management Banker at Merrill Lynch. He also served as a Lending Officer at Bank of America.

Frank is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He lives in Magnolia, Texas with his family. About Logan Mitchell

Logan Mitchell, CFP® is an Associate Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Houston-Post Oak. She is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients' and prospects' financial planning needs.

Logan began her career in financial services as a Wealth Advisor Associate, at Morgan Stanley in 2019. She matriculated from that role to a Financial Advisor, and joined a team managing a book of business north of $200 million. In order to focus on more complex financial planning strategies, she switched to her current role in 2022.

Logan graduated from Howard University School of Business with honors, in 2018 and holds her Certified Financial Planner® designation. She lives in Memorial City, Houston with her family. When she is not playing with her 6-month-old daughter, she can be found working out, watching basketball, or spending time with her parents in Oklahoma.
