After graduating from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington with a BS in Accounting, I began my professional career with a local multi-million dollar corporation where I remained for over 20 years, holding the position of General Manager and Controller. My greatest satisfaction in business management came from developing strategies to attain specific objectives. I get the same satisfaction from assisting families accomplish their financial goals through a focus on comprehensive wealth planning, income solutions, principal preservation and legacy planning strategies. Louis Burney is a First Vice President at Morgan Stanley in our Wilmington, NC branch. He is a Wilmington native and a graduate of UNC-Wilmington. He began his career at Smith Barney in 1993. Louis and his wife Stephanie have one son that is attending the University of Mississippi. Louis is involved in the community as a member Cape Fear Community College board of trustees and as a member of New Hanover County ABC Board.
