We offer a highly disciplined wealth management philosophy in managing $2.2 billion of client assets as of March 2025. We specifically target to address the needs of a high-net-worth clientele - individuals and families, corporate executives, professional athletes, business owners, foundations, venture capital firms and private and public businesses.
We begin each relationship by taking the time to fully understand each client's unique financial situation. We then use that information to shape a thoughtful, customized approach that can make use of numerous products and services from one of the world's largest full-service investment firms. About Paul W. Shoemaker
He is originally from Longmont, Colorado and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Brigham Young University where, as a quarterback for the football team, he was a scholar athlete. After graduation in 1998, Paul joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor and built a successful financial advisory practice. In 2012, he transitioned his practice to Morgan Stanley and became the manager of the Salt Lake City office. While he enjoys the challenge of management, his position also benefits his investment clients. He is able to use his extensive knowledge of behind the scenes operations and senior level contacts in the firm to quickly and efficiently solve client problems and gain access to new technology.
Paul and his wife Katie have five children, three of which are married and live in the greater Salt Lake City area. He is President of the Salt Lake chapter of the Cougar Club for Brigham Young University athletic supporters. Paul has competed yearly in half and full distance Ironman races since 2010.

About David Taylor
David is a graduate of the University of Utah where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics. As a Morgan Stanley Portfolio Management Director, he is part of a select group of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors who are qualified by the firm—based on training, experience and commitment—to make investment decisions on client's behalf and independently manage their assets. During David’s 38 years of experience, he spent 17 years in various management roles which included the hiring, training and mentoring of Financial Advisors.
David is a 5th generation native Utahn and long-time residents of Park City. He is passionate about the outdoors with skiing, mountain biking and hiking among his favorites. More than anything David loves supporting his 2 son’s education and athletic activities. He supports several local non-profits organizations and is active in the community.

About Dan Bryant
Before Morgan Stanley, Dan was a Principal and Founding Partner of BT Pacific Partners, LLC and its predecessor, Taurus Pacific Asset Management, LLC. Prior to co-founding these firms, Dan was a Financial Analyst in the Private Banking & Investment Group at Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles and at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. Dan began his investment career in 1997 at First Security Investment Management in Salt Lake City.
Dan grew up in Connecticut, was an avid sports competitor, earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University where he also lettered in Varsity Football at the NCAA Division I level and received many scholar-athlete recognitions. Dan also earned an M.B.A. at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Dan and his wife Elise stay active with their eight children (three of whom compete for the BYU Track & Field team) and volunteering their time supporting the non-profit Family Promise of SCV, and other local educational, athletic, and religious organizations.

Steven began his career in wealth management in 2006, joining Morgan Stanley in 2014. He is a graduate of Weber State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Sales. Steven is focused on helping clients achieve successful outcomes, whether it be retirement planning, business exit strategies, portfolio risk reduction or resolving complex wealth challenges.
Steven and his wife Tipling, have two children. They enjoy sports and theatrical entertainment, also spending time outdoors. They enjoy coaching their children’s sports teams and participating in various community events.

Scott began his career in financial services in 2001, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 as a High Net Worth Lending Advisor. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Credit Analyst at Merrill Lynch.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Park City, Utah with his family. Outside of the office, enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing and camping.
