My Story and Services

Cam McDonough is a seasoned financial advisor with eight years of experience guiding entrepreneurs, business owners, and their families through the complexities of wealth management. As a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, he delivers highly tailored investment advice and comprehensive planning strategies designed to meet each client’s unique objectives.

Cam was recruited out of college to Lennar Mortgage's Corporate Management Training Program, where he rotated through each department of the company to advise on corporate strategy and drive operational efficiency. That experience provided him with firsthand insight into the mortgage industry and the intricacies of corporate financial operations. He then joined JPMorgan Private Bank, where he advanced through a variety of roles before ultimately managing his own book of high-net-worth families. His professional focus has always been on delivering highly specific, tailored investment advice to help clients preserve and grow their wealth across generations.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Cam remains actively engaged in his community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Lighthouse of Broward. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. A lifelong South Floridian, Cam and his wife, Isabelle, reside in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with their miniature dachshund, Noodle.

Source: Barron's.com (May 2024) 2024 Barron's Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams awarded in 2024. The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties.
