Elder Care, or senior care, is specialized care designed to meet the needs and requirements of people as they age. Elder Care isn’t just about money.  It becomes an issue when a loved one begins experiencing difficulty with daily activities.  The need can happen quickly, and it can be difficult for a family to find the right resources whenever a loved one needs an extra financial layer of care, and help making the right decisions that best suit their family’s needs.

We believe it’s best to know ahead of time what steps you, as a family member or caregiver, may need to take to best provide for a loved one.  The ability to detect certain triggers that indicate a need for physical, cognitive, or mental health assistance for otherwise healthy older adults is an essential component of the planning process. 

That’s why we’ve made Elder Care a key focus of our practice.  Our 22 item Elder Care checklist is available upon request for those often difficult-to-face issues we believe are best discussed with your family and advisors sooner rather than later. 

In addition to our checklist, we also assist with establishing a Trusted Contact person.  This person serves as a dedicated point of contact in the event there are concerns about your health status, unusual activity, or whereabouts.  No financial details are discussed; it’s simply our way of making sure you are okay and in good hands.
