About Me

With nearly two decades of experience, Brian Lowenthal helps clients remain laser-focused on their long-term investment goals through all market cycles. Leveraging broad knowledge of investment strategy and asset allocation, he collaborates with multi-generational families, corporate executives and not-for-profit organizations to create individualized wealth-management strategies tailored to their needs.

Brian launched his financial-services career in 1997 as an Assistant Vice President at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. He later became a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch and a Director at Lehman Brothers/Barclays before joining his current Morgan Stanley team in. A dedicated student of the markets, Brian continually seeks new insights that can help clients make informed decisions.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Brian earned a B.A. in Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Committed to giving back, he serves on the boards of Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens and the Morse Geriatric Center.

Originally from New York, Brian now lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife and two daughters. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, listening to an eclectic mix of music, and cheering on the Florida State Seminoles and New York Giants.

About Me

From an early fascination with the markets to more than a decade of professional experience, Kristen Bissett channels her macroeconomic research background into practical guidance for the individuals and organizations she serves. Kristen focuses on helping multigenerational families, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit groups build customized asset allocations designed to address income needs and long-term goals. By translating big-picture economic insights into tailored portfolio strategies, she strives to give clients greater clarity and confidence in their financial decision-making.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Kristen served as an Investment Strategist at Barclays and J.P. Morgan Private Bank and later at UBS Private Wealth Management. These roles deepened her understanding of global markets and complex client situations—expertise she now brings to every relationship.

Committed to her community, Kristen is Treasurer of the Center for Creative Education and a member of the Young Friends of the Kravis Center. She earned a B.A. in Economics from Drew University.

Away from the office, you’ll often find Kristen outdoors—golfing, hiking or enjoying live music. She and her husband live in Palm Beach Gardens with their daughter and two dogs.

About Monique Burns

Monique Burns brings comprehensive expertise in financial markets to Berman Partners. She works to cultivate lasting client relationships in order to understand and implement each client’s specific requirements. Prior to joining Berman Partners in 2017, Monique held various leadership positions at several financial institutions, including Relationship Manager, Operations Manager, Compliance Manager, and Vice President. Monique holds Series 7,9,10,63, and 66 licenses and is experienced in compliance, operations, and branch management roles.

Monique and her team believe in carefully analyzing each family’s needs to deliver tailored and effective strategies. In her work, Monique recognizes the distinctiveness of every family and works diligently to support their financial objectives. She oversees operational processes and personally addresses complex account matters, including multifaceted and unique situations, with her exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness.

Monique earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University. She began her career in New York City and moved to Florida in 1991 to establish First Manhattan Co.’s satellite office in West Palm Beach. Currently, she and her husband reside in Palm Beach Gardens, where they raised their children. In her community, Monique served as the former Board Chair of St. Mark’s Episcopal School Advisory Board and as the former Senior Warden for St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Her volunteer contributions include work with Suncoast Community High School Theatre and Music Programs, Hearts of Palm, and St. George’s Community Center Kitchen. Outside of her professional commitments, Monique enjoys traveling, cooking, and gardening.

About Douglas Cion

Douglas Cion brings a client-focused mindset and broad industry experience to his role as a Private Wealth Management Analyst. Having grown up on Long Island, Doug developed an early appreciation for hard work and community—qualities that continue to shape the way he supports individuals and families today.

Doug entered the financial-services field in 2015 with Beech Hill Securities. He then deepened his knowledge as a Client Associate with Hightower Advisors and later as a Senior Client Service Associate at UBS, experiences that refined his attention to detail and commitment to attentive, concierge-level service. In every interaction, he strives to simplify complex financial matters and help clients feel confident about their decisions.

A graduate of Stony Brook University (B.A., 2009), Doug combines analytical skills with a genuine passion for building lasting relationships. Outside the office, he and his wife, Nichole—high-school sweethearts—enjoy an active South Florida lifestyle. You’ll often find them working out in their garage gym, hiking local trails, or cheering for the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys alongside their two dogs.
