      About Me

      James Thilking is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley and a financial advisor veteran who has more than 40 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. James heads the Pianko-Ginsburg/Thilking Group at Morgan Stanley, where he focuses on getting to know his clients’ personal and financial goals to develop customized strategies that meet them. James’ approach is tailored to each client, with focus on structuring their balance sheet to help enhance potential cash flow to meet future objectives.

      James has repeatedly demonstrated his knowledge and dedication to client service. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, James served as a Managing Director at Bear Stearns and as a Senior Vice President at Wachovia Securities (formerly Prudential Securities), where he spent 16 years with the latter and made key contributions to its overall success. He is Series 5, 7, 8, 63, 65 registered and has his CA Insurance License.

      James earned his B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and he continues to support his alma mater through donations to the Res Publica Society.

      During his free time, James enjoys a number of hobbies including attending concerts performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and watching sports. James roots for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings.

      Alex is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Portfolio Management Director based in Morgan Stanley’s Beverly Hills office. Alex and his team develop customized wealth management solutions for high net worth families and foundations.

      Alex leads the investment and financial planning decisions for the team’s clients. His primary focus is building and implementing risk management and portfolio strategies.

      Alex earned a BBA in Finance from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. He started his career as a research analyst at Pinnacle Associates in New York, an asset management firm managing over $5 billion for high net worth individuals and institutional clients. In 2008, Alex joined UBS International in Los Angeles, where he was a financial advisor on a team working with select high net worth families from Europe and Latin America. At UBS, Alex was recognized as one of the Top 35 Advisors under 35 and earned the Portfolio Manager title. His professional licenses include the Series 3,7,9,10,63,65.

      Alex is an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and supports Chelsea F.C. He enjoys running, cycling, skiing, and most importantly, spending time with his family. Alex lives in the Hollywood Hills with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Elden and Nathalie.

      Donna Esposito joined the financial industry in 1986 as a Cashier and has been working with James Thilking for the past 15 years. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2008, Donna worked with Mauney Company, Prudential Securities, and Bear Stearns for a combined total of 22 years. Donna is Series 7, 63 registered and plays a pivotal role in providing full service client centered practice. As a Senior Registered Client Service Associate, Donna ensures clients receive the superior service they have come to expect from the team. With her background as Cashier, Operations Manager, and Sales Assistant, Donna has a long track record of maintaining a high level of personalized client service. She makes sure to take the time to get to know clients on a personal level and assists them with their daily financial needs.       Byuzand serves as a Wealth Management Associate in the Beverly Hills office. Byuzand began his professional career as a premier banker with Bank of America in 2002 before joining HSBC.  In 2008, he moved to UBS International where he worked for high net worth families from Europe and Latin America with Alex Fur.In 2017, Byuzand moved to Morgan Stanley.  Byuzand directs the teams’s business process which includes working with individuals and families by providing comprehensive financial planning to each of our clients along with exemplary customer service.  He also assists with manager research, due diligence and analysis.  In addition, he works closely with the Bedford Wealth Management Group research team on all tactical portfolio strategies and risk management.In his free time, Byuzand enjoys traveling and playing hockey. When he’s not playing hockey himself, he can be found cheering on the Los Angeles Kings and spending time with his family. Byuzand currently resides in Sherman Oaks with his wife, Marlene, and son, Peter.Byuzand holds his Series 7, 66, and CA insurance licenses.

      Priscilla Canizalez serves as a Client Service Associate in the Beverly Hills office. In 2005, Priscilla began her professional career as a Financial Center Operations Manager at Bank of America, in which she first gained insight into the financial industry. In 2015, Priscilla moved to Prudential Financial as a Financial Professional Associate prior to joining Morgan Stanley.As a Client Service Associate, Priscilla enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service and operational support to the team. With her previous financial background, Priscilla is well-versed in her responsibilities and actively engages with clients, building and maintaining new relationships. Priscilla was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and now resides in Culver City, CA. In her free time, Priscilla enjoys circuit training, traveling, and spending time with her family. She can be found climbing the stairs at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, or appreciating nature on a hike. Priscilla holds her Series 7, 63, and CA insurance licenses.
