Our Team

The Ardito and McCarrick Group is a Wealth Management team headquartered in Riverhead and Melville, NY.  We area a five member senior advisory team that formed with the goal of developing and implementing personalized wealth management strategies for individuals, business owners, and corporate executives. The senior members of the team, Louis Ardito, Thomas McCarrick and Michael McCarrick, have over 60 years of experience in the financial industry and utilize their vast knowledge and experience to help realize their client’s financial objectives. In addition to their personal acumen, the Ardito and McCarrick Group will leverage the broad resources and intellectual capital at Morgan Stanley in implementing wealth management strategies in a cost efficient manner.

Our Process

The Ardito and McCarrick Group utilize a four-step process to help their clients achieve their financial goals while managing the associated risks:

    We will help clients define their various financial goals and ensure that both the client and advisory team understand and prioritize their importance.

    Once the client’s goals are defined, we will then work with them to develop a personalized wealth management plan based upon their time horizon, risk tolerance, and any other pertinent factors. Utilizing this plan, we will then create a disciplined and well thought out strategy designed to help the client attain their objectives while helping to limit their risk.

    Following the wealth management plan and investment strategy developed with the client, we will carefully implement our recommendations.

    During regularly scheduled meetings, we will review and re-evaluate the client’s needs and concerns, and recommend any changes we may feel are necessary. We feel it is important to carefully and consistently assess the progress of the portfolio and modify the wealth management plan as you advance towards your goals.

4. Proactive: We will work with you to anticipate your life transitions and take any measures necessary to help ensure you are financially prepared. It is during these periods of change that your wealth management plan will be especially helpful.

5. Education: During any decision making process, we will take the time to carefully explain the various options, as well as the benefits and risks associated with each choice.

6. Collaboration: We will attempt to help you achieve financial wellbeing by working in concert with you, not just for you. In order to make this possible, we will take the time to clearly understand the client’s background, philosophy, needs and objectives. We view wealth management as a collaborative process that will require hard work, careful planning, and most importantly, trust.

About Mike McCarrick

Michael McCarrick is a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2017, Michael began his career as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in 2011 after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Lehigh University.

As a partner in The Ardito & McCarrick Group, Michael’s primary responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing detailed investment strategies, assisting in liability management, and coordinating with accountants, attorneys and other professionals to help manage client’s complete financial lives. Throughout this process, there is a focus on comprehensive financial planning to ensure that his clients are in a position to meet their financial goals.

In his free time, Michael enjoys golfing and skiing, and most importantly, spending time with his wife Sara and their son Jack.
