Welcome

Retirement and Estate planning mean more to me than providing my clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. It means striving to ensure they have the means to pursue what’s most important to them. And it means understanding them as people with unique goals, values, and circumstances that determine the strategies I develop on their behalf.

My consultative process begins with an in-depth discussion of your current finances and future objectives. We’ll address issues you might have overlooked that can have a significant impact on your ability to retire as planned. Finally, we’ll determine how we can help you adjust your investment strategy as necessary to accommodate changing conditions and meet any unforeseen expenses and income demands that may arise during retirement.

I am an Executive Director, Wealth Manager and Financial Advisor on Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park, California, who has been working at Morgan Stanley since 1999. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, I graduated from Bard College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biology. I went on to conduct research in Molecular Genetics in Boston. Afterwards, I embarked on a journey in the financial services industry, working for Thomas James & Assoc. in investment banking, and A.G. Edwards, where I started financial planning for my clients. In 1999, I moved to Smith Barney where I continued retirement and financial planning and guiding my clients with estate planning strategies, which is the cornerstone of my practice. Since entering the industry, I have earned my Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, along with Life Insurance and Annuity licenses.

I am a native of the Northeast, where I grew up in a family of six children. I currently reside in Palo Alto, California, where I am an active member of my local community through my volunteer work with Veterans, youth sports, and the Second Harvest Food Bank. I sit on various boards and philanthropic committees. I have two daughters, a Black Lab, and a cat. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring the great outdoors, and appreciating the fine arts.

8Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
