My Story & Services

Ameen is a Senior Vice President and Alternative Investments Director with Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Division. He currently splits his time between Tampa, FL and Boston, MA when not visiting clients across the country.
The United States is the 7th country Ameen has lived in. Originally from Iraq, his global upbringing built an appreciation for the one constant in his life: People. He is of the view that regardless of our background, we all have more in common than we are different. One of those differences is our relationship with money and he takes great pride in partnering with successful founders and UHNW families for such a sensitive topic, a trust that is not taken lightly. He has a track record of helping Business Owners maximize the value of their business whether selling it in whole, in part or passing one on and allocating to the private and public market after doing so.
Cognizant that not all advice is created equal, Ameen has:
  • Attained a Master’s Degree in Wealth Management from Columbia University.
  • Currently serves as a Course Associate for the Capstone class in the Wealth Management program at Columbia.
  • Recognized as an Alternative Investment Director at Morgan Stanley for his expertise in the private markets, advising clients as they allocate to alternatives ranging from private equity to hedge funds.

2Alternative Investments are speculative and include a high degree of risk. An investor could lose all or a substantial amount of his/her investment. Alternative investments are appropriate only for qualified, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time.

3The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
