About Matthew Doucet
As a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for the Acadiana Legacy Group, Matt is grateful for the opportunity to work with successful individuals, families, and business owners to provide uniquely personalized advice through a disciplined wealth management process. Within his focus of portfolio construction, Matt implements all discretionary portfolio management for the team under Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management program. He also takes a lead role in identifying alternative investment opportunities outside of traditional fixed income and equity markets.
Going beyond investment management, as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor Matt has a deep understanding of how to help surround business owners with the best resources when the critical time arrives to sell their business or raise capital. Born and raised in Lafayette, Matt attended St. Thomas More High School. While hunting and fishing are favorite hobbies, close friends know that spending time with his wife, Kaylin, and 3 children is where Matt’s true dedication lies.
