My Story and Services

I first became passionate about the financial industry when I volunteered with a club at my University called 'Moneythink'. This is a national non-profit organization which helps teach and promote financial literacy to underprivileged high school students. It was quickly evident how little of a foundation our educational systems provide on the basics of personal finance. While obtaining my degree in finance at Chapman University, I found wealth management to be the perfect platform to continue teaching others valuable information on investing and how to best achieve their financial goals.

Upon graduating, I headed back home to Bellevue, WA and joined Morgan Stanley in 2019. I started my career as a Branch Analyst for the Bellevue Complex in the Pacific Northwest, encompassing over 10 different branches. During this 2 year rotational program, I was exposed to all areas of wealth management from compliance and private banking to service and business development. Through this program, I established a pronounced sense of how to best serve a wide variety of clientele utilizing all the vast resources Morgan Stanley offers.

From there, I joined the Aquino Group in 2021 as a Registered Associate. In this role, I was able to further enhance the team's client relationships providing a holistic approach to wealth management. Each client's objectives in life vary greatly, so taking the time to truly listen to their needs was my priority. In 2022, I was promoted to Financial Advisor. I now work alongside our team's two other advisors focusing on financial planning and investment management. Being a part of The Aquino Group, we implement a completely customized portfolio for each of our clients. We construct and maintain each portfolio to align with the client's values, market comfortability, and financial plan set in place. With each portfolio being directly managed by our team in only individual stocks and bonds, we have complete control and flexibility to adapt to what the market and life will throw at you.

Outside of work, you can most often find me outside. I enjoy skiing, paddle boarding, playing tennis, attending UW sports games, and soaking up all that the Greater Seattle area has to offer.

I look forward to connecting so please do not hesitate in reaching out.

Thank you,

Abby Peterson, CPWA®

2Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
