About Victor D Ziminsky III
Victor D. Ziminsky III has been in the wealth management business since 1985, when he joined a financial advisor training program at Morgan Stanley* predecessor Shearson Lehman Brothers. Before then, he was a journalist and staff writer for Gannett Corporation’s Journal News in White Plains, N.Y. He began there in 1979 just after graduating from Georgetown University with a B.A. in American Studies.
Vic III is a Managing Director – Wealth Management and Senior Portfolio Management Director. He is also an International Client Advisor. He is designated a Family Wealth Director, as the result of completing advanced training in serving high net worth families, under the auspices of the firm’s Family Wealth Advisory Services unit.
He is involved in charitable organizations. Recently he was named a Director Emeritus of Catholic Guardian Services, a social services agency in New York City, after completing 20 years of service on its Board of Trustees. He is a lifetime member of The Society of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick in the City of New York; and is a member of the board of trustees of the McCaddin McQuirk Foundation in New York. He married Megan Ryan Ziminsky in 1982. They live in Mount Kisco, N.Y., where they raised nine children and now count one grandchild.
