      About Alex Yu

      Alex Yu is a Managing Director, Corporate Cash Investment Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director with the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley. His primary responsibilities include investment strategy and managing discretionary fixed income for institutions.

      Alex has over 32 years of experience in the industry and joined Morgan Stanley in 1993. He received a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA from Rutgers University.

      Alex lives in the East Bay with his wife, three kids and two dogs.

      About Jeff Basich

      Jeff Basich is an Executive Director and Corporate Cash Investment Director with the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley. His primary responsibilities include business development, investment strategy and managing discretionary fixed income for corporations.

      Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 1997, he attended California State University, Chico where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. With over 29 years experience in Private Wealth Management, he brings diverse expertise to his position.

      Outside of work, Jeff is an avid runner and coaches youth sports. A native Californian, he currently lives in Petaluma with his wife and two daughters.

      Jeff is Series 7, 63 and 66 licensed.

      About Haylie Garrie

      Haylie Garrie is a Senior Vice President, Corporate Cash Investment Director, and Senior Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley. She serves as her team’s Head of New Client Acquisition and Integrated Firm Strategy. Her other responsibilities include macroeconomic analysis and credit quality due diligence.

      Haylie joined Morgan Stanley in 2017. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was at Goldman Sachs. Haylie received a B.A. in History and a MAcc from University of Southern California.

      Haylie serves in various leadership capacities at Morgan Stanley. Most recently, she was nominated to serve on the inaugural Corporate Cash Advisory Board, working closely with senior Firm leadership as a representative of the Corporate Cash Management franchise at-large. Haylie also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Finance Committee for a Federally Qualified Health Center whose mission is to provide quality clinical outreach and social services to underserved communities confronted with barriers to accessing care.
      Haylie lives in San Francisco, CA with her fiancée and dog.

      About Christine Kim

      Christine Kim is a Vice President Client Service Associate with Morgan Stanley. She serves as her team’s operations lead where she provides administrative and onboarding support, and oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and service across the client base. Christine joined Morgan Stanley in 2019. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was at Citigroup for 11 years. Christine graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics and a minor in Computing and Information Systems.

      Christine spent 10 years in Manhattan and now lives in Fremont, CA with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time outdoors, trying the newest restaurants, and cheering on her kids at their team events.

      About Greg Thomas

      Greg earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also served as the starting placekicker for the football team for two seasons. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he gained valuable experience at a registered investment advisory firm that operated a venture fund focused on early-stage companies. In his current role, Greg leads the reporting arm of the business while also contributing to business development efforts. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, surfing, and running.

      About Amaka Nwankwo

      Amaka Nwankwo is a Registered Client Service Associate within the Private Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley. She joined the firm in 2025 after working at JP Morgan. Prior to that, she was at First Republic Private Wealth Management. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in International Business. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and learning figure skating.
