Yangchen has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry helping advise high net worth individuals, private companies and non-profit organizations. She focuses on delivering customized investment management solutions that are fully integrated with her client’s overall financial goals and needs. This is accomplished through the preparation of a comprehensive financial plan with a focus on intergenerational wealth transfer strategies. Having served as an investment banker conducting investment analysis in East Asia, South East Asia and Africa, she brings a global view of investment management.

Yangchen has been recognized as top Wealth Advisor Moms by the Working Mother Magazine in 2017 and 2018. She is a Certified Portfolio Manager, Certified Financial Planner™, and a Family Wealth Director. She graduated from Cornell University with both a Bachelors of Arts and a Master’s degree with a concentration in International Finance. She earned her Certified Portfolio Manager through Columbia University's Masters of Engineering School. She is a native of Nepal and, in addition to English, speaks several languages fluently, including Tibetan, Nepali and Hindi.

As a Family Wealth Director, Yangchen is passionate about helping multi-generational clients achieve their philanthropic goals and aspirations during their lifetime and beyond. She strongly believes in giving back to her community and world at large. She has been extensively involved for the past 15 years in improving the lives of girls in Nepal through a non-profit organization called Hands In Outreach that provides educational sponsorship for girls for their primary and secondary educations. She had also served on several higher education board of trustees in the US to help make colleges and universities more accessible to lower socio-economic families. She currently serves on the board of Equality California Institute & Hands In Outreach, both non-profit organizations in the US.
