About André P. Fontenot

André brings over a decade of financial services and corporate retirement experience to the team and currently serves as Vice President. A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management as well as a Master’s in Business Administration.

As financial advisor, André is committed to gaining a complete understanding of the goals, dreams and concerns of his clients. Taking into consideration each client’s unique financial situation, including previous investment experience, risk parameters and time frame, he works closely with clients to develop a wealth management strategy that is tailored to meet their objectives.

A CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANS SPECIALIST™, André also serves as the group’s Corporate Retirement Director and has played an integral role in developing and growing this line of business for Wright Fontenot Group. His responsibilities include the design, implementation and monitoring of retirement plans, such as 401(k)’s, for small businesses and corporations. André and fellow team members also assist these companies and their employees by offering insight and guidance on choosing the most suitable investment solutions.

André and his wife are the proud parents of three children. As passionate Ragin Cajuns fans and sports fans, the family enjoys attending various ULL sporting events throughout the year, especially football games. In his free time André also likes to hunt, fish and spend time with loved ones.

Dean brings a lifetime of experience to his role as a wealth management professional. For over 15 years, he has worked with highly successful professionals, corporate executives and retirees, providing personalized advice through a disciplined approach. His diverse background in tax management and finance enables him to help clients understand the intricate details of their wealth. He focuses on what is most important to each family, so he can develop a customized plan to build, preserve and transition their wealth.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University, Dean maintained a successful accounting career, where he spent the majority of his time serving local corporations. It was during this experience that he began to desire a more client-focused role. Aligning his skills with his passion to help people solve their financial challenges, Dean set out to become a Financial Advisor. In 2004, he embarked on a career at Morgan Stanley and has been a vital member of the firm ever since.

Dean is committed to providing comprehensive wealth management advice that goes beyond investing to include financial planning, insurance products, and estate planning and preservation strategies. He also brings extensive experience and knowledge regarding fixed income investments and is often called upon by fellow team members to offer input and insight on topics related to fixed income solutions.

Rebekah spent time with a local tax law firm before making the transition to financial services.

As a Registered Associate, Rebekah’s areas of focus include various aspects related to financial planning, portfolio maintenance and practice management. She plays an integral role in assisting the team and their clients with goals planning and portfolio construction as well as product research and risk analysis. Rebekah currently carries the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and is also certified in Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance.

In her free time, Rebekah enjoys gardening and spending time with friends and family, especially with her beloved niece and nephew.

James was born and raised in New Iberia, LA and graduated from Catholic High School. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. James began his career at Morgan Stanley in April of 2022, where he received his Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses- to further help clients with their financial needs.

James is an avid sports fan, attending Saints, Pelicans, Astros, and Ragin’ Cajun events. He enjoys exercise of all kinds including hiking, lifting weights, and Brazilian Ju Jitsu.
