My Story and Services

With more than 25 years of financial services experience, Bill joined Morgan Stanley in 2016. He plays a key role in financial planning efforts and provides clients with the knowledgeable counsel they need to plan their estates, structure legal settlements, and help meet the often complex challenges that come with retirement. Bill is a Dedicated Equity Plan Specialist allowing him to service Institutional clients that are part of Morgan Stanley’s Reinvestment Network.

A Rochester native, Bill developed a fascination with the stock market at an early age. After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS in Business Administration, he joined a local bank where he specialized in trusts and investments, as well as working with corporate clients. Twelve years later, he followed his true passion and became a Financial Advisor.

His interests, outside of investing, include singing as a tenor in the St. Thomas More Church choir, numismatics, history, reading and golf. Bill and his wife, Maria, have two children and reside in Rochester, New York.

    Melisa was raised in Central New York and moved to
    Minneapolis a few years back. She graduated from Proctor High School and went on to attend Mohawk Valley Community College and eventually on to obtain her bachelor’s and her MBA from Capella University in Minnesota. Since then, she’s relocated back to the area, now residing at home in the Rochester area with her fiancé and her fur baby, Belle. Melisa joined The Chabalik Group at Morgan Stanley in October of 2022 as a Client Service Associate. With over 10 years of customer care experience, Melisa knows the importance of providing exceptional service to our clients and their families as well as building rapport. She is very excited to apply her expertise in assisting new and existing clients to ensure their needs are met in a timely fashion. When Melisa is not working, she can be found enjoying quality time with friends and family, traveling, or enjoying some quiet time with a good book while snuggling with her toy poodle, that is when she's not pursuing her top passion of shopping!

About Charles Cox

Charles G. Cox, CFP® is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Western New York. He is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients' and prospects' financial planning needs.

Charles began his career in financial services in 2010, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to his current position, he worked for a national bank with trust powers in a variety of roles. Most recently he was providing financial planning to bank’s high-net worth clients.

Charles graduated from University at Albany with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and holds his Certified Financial Planner® designation. Charles lives in Rochester, NY with his wife Cristina. Outside of work, Charles enjoys spending time outdoors and cooking.
