My Story and Services

Born and raised in China, Will first came to the United States in 2011 to further his education at the University of Washington. During his studies, he was actively involved in organizing various events and forums regarding U.S./Chinese relations. As an immigrant himself, Will understands the concerns and needs present in building a solid financial plan and focuses on adopting one-stop wealth management solutions for immigrant families.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Will had facilitated the immigration of hundreds of families through immigrant-investment programs established by the U.S. Congress. He has extensive knowledge and experience in U.S. primary and secondary markets, outbound investments from East Asia, and global immigration programs. From 2014 to 2019, while located in Shanghai, China, he provided investment consulting services for hundreds of high net-worth families across East Asia, primarily mainland China, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Will currently lives in Issaquah, WA, with his wife and son. He enjoys soccer, craft beers, and hiking. He is dedicated to helping new immigrants and internationally based individuals/families with a sense of care, duty, and compassion. His main priority is to provide on-stop wealth management solutions to help immigrant families thrive.

I work closely with immigrants who have EB-5 visas that are available to noncitizens (and their spouses and children) who seek to immigrate based on their job skills. If they have the right combination of skills, education, and/or work experience and are otherwise eligible, they may be able to live permanently in the United States.

I also work with clients who need to be financially literate on their investments. I provide them with resources and explain what they can invest in pre-immigration and post immigration. Regarding, pre-immigration investments, a few things that should be taken into consideration is doing deep knowledge on the investment, due diligence, and knowing that US citizenship is not a guarantee. A few pre-immigration investments that have to be taken before moving to the US would involve trusts and foreign account disclosures.

After moving to the US, there are different investment options that clients have. I help them navigate the system in the US and what investments are right for them.
