WHAT A CLIENT MEANS TO US:
A client is the most important person in the office…in person, on the telephone, or by mail. A client is not an interruption of our work, he/she is the purpose of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them. They are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so. A client is a person who brings us their wants. It is our duty to handle them responsibly.
The Client Experience:
- We strive to achieve a thorough understanding of your investment goals and establish a comfortable risk level for the funds to be invested by listening carefully to you and consulting with your professional advisors when appropriate.
- We analyze your current financial situation—with the assistance of Morgan Stanley's financial planning professionals and state-of-the- art technology—and use these findings to prepare a personal finance review that shows you the "big picture" including asset-allocation analyses and various tax and estate-planning strategies.
- We consult with you to review the details of your customized financial plan and to confirm our interpretation before executing our specific recommendations.
- We monitor portfolio performance to make sure that your assets are properly positioned in conjunction with market events, and we periodically provide reallocation and rebalancing services as needed.
- We communicate with you regularly, providing performance reporting and suitable recommendations when appropriate.

About Christopher J. Wilker
Chris began his career as an Intern while attending the University of Dayton. He subsequently became an Analyst in Smith Barney’s Consulting Group. After a nine year stint, he moved into a role of Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and later formed Wilker Wealth Management.
Through continued education, Chris has developed an expertise in wealth planning and investment management. He received a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) certifications and earned a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Chris has received a number accolades. He was awarded the title of Executive Director for experience and quality asset growth. He was named Consulting Group Analyst of the Year, and received Family Wealth Director (less than 2% of Morgan Stanley’s advisors qualify), Corporate Retirement Director, and Senior Portfolio Management Director designations.
His primary team responsibilities at Wilker Wealth Management are new business development and wealth management. The team sets itself apart from other advisory groups by largely managing their clients’ assets through the firm’s Portfolio Management program; portfolio construction and security selection is done in-house.
Chris gives back to the community by organizing fundraising opportunities for the Leukemia Society and also supports Habitat for Humanity, and Humble Design. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, paddle tennis, running, and triathlons. He enjoys spending quality time with Martha, his wife of 24 years, and their three children; Jack, Julia, and Emily.
